Too expensive for the quality offered
Our stay (during a wedding) at the Weingarten Hotel Harkamp was overall rather disappointing. For the price charged, we expected significantly more quality and attention to detail.
Unfortunately, the room did not appear particularly high-quality or well-maintained. The leather on the bed was already visibly peeling off, which leaves a poor impression. Additionally, one outlet in the room did not work, which is quite bothersome in everyday life and should actually be checked before arrival.
The breakfast buffet also did not convince us. The selection was rather small, and for a hotel in this price category, we expected significantly more variety and options.
The beautiful location and ambiance are particularly noteworthy; however, the current price-performance ratio does not meet our expectations. Our tip to the hotel: pay more attention to the maintenance of the rooms and offer a more varied breakfast selection.
Overall, we would unfortunately rate the stay as rather inadequate.

Great location in the vineyard but old rooms
Very commendable, however, is the food, the service, the chef (including authentic wine presentation) and the surroundings (outdoor tables).

once is enough, we continue
who seems deceptive — the staff reserved and tart — on the 1st evening, the service staff without overview, the younger master arrogant and unprofessional, the young lady overwhelmed and out of place — the older lady (not by subject) but very anxious (rather warm than otherwise). the rooms interesting, but! the downpipe of the toilet of the upper floors a ́cohesive ́ companion at every hour — armchair with holes, internet not working — the room terrace a witch breaker without comfortable seating — the pool for a hotel, rather a plunge pool for a sauna.
finally the esse. the soups in tea cups — some ok, others scare e.g. the baked chicken, a standard in the stmk — several times not as ordered (with — without skin) — the breast part tough and return — and not complete (regarding offal)
the 2nd evening — different from the service the previous evening, but the kitchen more than overwhelmed with the number of people (wait, wait, ..).
the breakfast cut through (a lot of things first with inquiries, some not at all (2 eggs in a glass — we do not make poached eggs as info from the HU—dame)
Pros: the jam, the senior manager at the table culture, the older lady at the service (see above) — the room staff — that's it
Negative: a lot
Conclusion: a stop elsewhere will suggest and cannot be wrong!
