First and very good experience in July 2026

First time at this establishment and a very good experience. Beautiful large room with a view of the garden. Welcoming and smiling staff. Quality 4-course meal and service that lived up to expectations. Very good breakfast buffet. Magnificent garden with 3 water ponds. Very good location for starting many walks. Highly recommended without hesitation. Thank you for this lovely moment. Christian and christel

A haven of peace in the Ardennes.

A charming hotel at the entrance of the village of Corbion on the Semois, located quite far from the Semois, in fact. The welcome is courteous and efficient, and the large garden greets you with multiple shaded platforms that allow for relaxation in nice weather. The back of the garden features a tartan tennis court for enthusiasts. The restaurant is acceptable, and the selection of drinks is perfect. We occupied a standard room in the attic; the equipment is spartan, and the bathroom is not very ergonomic due to the poor choice of the skylight, which, when opened, makes movement dangerous. Overall, the interior layout of this very small type of room reflects amateurism. The breakfast offers an abundant variety of very tasty dishes, and the coffee is drinkable. Having frequented this type of hotel for years, we notice a marked decline in the quality of services offered due to rampant inflation impacting these businesses.

Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez apprécié l’accueil, le jardin et le petit-déjeuner. Nous prenons également note de vos remarques concernant la chambre standard occupée, notamment sur son aménagement et l’ergonomie de la salle de bain.
Nos chambres présentent des configurations différentes selon les catégories et l’emplacement dans la maison.
Concernant la localisation, l’hôtel se situe bien à Corbion-sur-Semois. La Semois est visible dès les premiers virages à la sortie du village et reste accessible en seulement quelques minutes en voiture, notamment à Bouillon.

Lovely hotel, great food and beautiful garden!

We stayed for 4nights as a base to explore the region. Lovely hotel. Breakfast was delicious each morning and we had the set dinner one night, again delicious. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed spending the evenings with a drink enjoying the view. All the staff were extremely friendly, special note goes out to the older gentleman who looked after us very well in the evenings and during breakfast and always had a smile on his face. The interior of the hotel was lovely, my only slight negative, is that our room just didn’t seem to match the standard and decor of the rest of the hotel….it wasn’t a welcoming space. However this wouldn’t put my off returning.

Second stay, good experience.
Very beautiful, bright, and very comfortable room, as well as a great shower in the bathroom
A small fridge is missing in the room (100)
Very good restaurant, especially the Bib Gourmand, highly recommended
Very friendly staff
Good location

Exceptional food but dreadful welcome

Fantastic food prepared by an excellent and creative chef, served in a lovely dining room. The quality of the meals made this a really special place and we would be pleased to return.
However, you have to get past the very unpleasant and unwelcoming reception staffed by the most surly and self-righteous young man who almost caused us to walk out. Rooms are comfortable but rather spartan - a few pictures and some light colours would enhance the space and view.
Joyfully it is dog friendly and they made our spaniel very welcome in the restaurant.
