Heaven in Thimpu.

Very beautiful hotel with amazing surroundings. Hosts at the hotel were simply outstanding and were very very helpful.
We had breakfast, lunch n dinner at the hotel. It was mouth watering. Every time different items made us feel at home.

Very nice but..

The hotel and room was excellent but apart from the housekeeping staff, the remainder certainly did their job but did not show the degree of warmth and friendliness I’d experienced in Paro. Toiletries were meagre, there were no face washes and no basic hotel information such as à room service menu, mini bar (advertised) and other such facilities were provided. Meals were adequate.buffet style. I ordered an omelette for breakfast and it was excellent

Very bad behaviour of staff.

The behaviour of the staff is very bad towards the guests... they pay more attention to guests from usa or other foreign countries but to guests from india they behave very poorly. They cancelled my spa session without notice when i had taken appointment one day before .. qnd it was cancelled because they were taking session for someone from usa. I waited at the spa for 15 mins .. called them out .. noone responded. Later they called and informed me that they have only 1/2 hr for spa as they ahve other appointment and were blaming me that i didnot come in time.. whoch was a lie ...At the buffet.. they are busy helping the guests from usa .. and for guests from india they ask to be seated qt the corner seat. I faced this racism only in pelyang boutique hotel.. otherwise the whole of bhutan were very warm towards us. It was really disappointing experience to stay at this hotel... i will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good place to stay

Room is clean and spacious. AC heater is working well. Staffs are nice and helpful. Restaurant food is good. Location is close to local farm market.

A nice modern hotel in the capital

A modern hotel in the heart of Thimphu. The staff were friendly and the service good. The room was modern and clean and sizeable enough though the smallest we stayed in during our time in Bhutan. The ground floor restaurant provides an a la carte menu with vegan options available. The food was tasty and the service prompt. Breakfast was a little more restricted though could be supplemented, for example with omlettes, upon request. If not included in your package food prices were extremely reasonable.
