DESASTROUS EXPERIENCY - DO NOT LEVEL YOUR PET
Unfortunately, we were fooled by the promise of a local "Pet Friendly". What we found was a total disaster that ruined our weekend.
The informed by Mr. Adilson was that neither my two pets (one Golden and one Yorkshire) could use the pool nor be in the place where breakfast was served. However, there were two lakes in the establishment that could be used by them.
I know that in some cases it is not easy to receive pets because some tutors leave completely free and without control. So I had all the care, even to get out of the room and take to do the needs, was with Guide. I'm cautious and don't like giving reasons to be called to attention or disobey rules. I left the two free only part of the lake. There was nobody but us in that environment and the Inn in general was almost guestless. Even so, as there was a ladder that gave in the environments above, we isolated with chairs to make sure they didn't pass and we stayed at peace fishing and they played.
In the morning, the two drowned in the water, had fun, we took photos, everything was okay, except the fact that the owner was watching us minute by minute, taking away a bit of privacy. There were some chickens and ducks around there, too. Even, at some point, one of them jumped into the water and my Golden was swimming in front of him. Nothing aggressive, that would offer risk. The duck went to one side and the other, then dived, floated and Bogotá (Golden) went in the same direction but didn’t even get close to it.
We took them off the pond and let them dry so we could go back to our room. The sun of 12:00 was hot and they were pretty tired.
As we took the grill, we thought about baking meat on the balcony in front of our door. As it would smoke, the host said to use another chalet or stay in the lake, since it would be even better for both.
We let the dogs sleep and we went down with our things from the barbecue. We did, we ate and around 15:30 I went looking for them to play and get tired a little more. THAN THE PROBLEM started - my Golden went into the water, such duck too and everything between the two happened as in the morning, except the moment when we shouted Mr. Adilson said my dog would hurt the duck, that the beast was afraid and would get sick because he didn't even want to eat. We were caught by surprise. Even because if you are told that the place is FREE to use, you think: "Well, here they can stay in a good." Still, we say, "okay, let's get out of the water." As I walked in the direction, I heard from afar a woman - who at least I must say is hysterical (I don't know if the owner's wife, was not introduced to me), accusing the dog of having MAT@DO the duck. She literally GREAT it for several times! And he said that Bogotá should not be in the water, but in the Guide - a requirement never mentioned before. We debated for a few moments before jumping into the water and catching the dog (while they just yelled). I said they weren't prepared to accept animals there. To be honest, they have no preparation to even receive people. We got watered, embarrassed.
If something was coming out of the rails, they had total opening in the morning, when they noticed the "problem", talk: look, it would be how to prevent the dog swimming, the duck is scared, etc, etc. Treat with RESPECT, PROFESSIONALISM. But unfortunately, amateurs.
I decided to get my things and leave immediately.
Accepting pets is not just opening the door. It is necessary to like, be prepared and have an appropriate structure. If you're scared and don't like their loving contact, why declare yourself Pet Friendly? Just because it's high and it brings more revenue than an Inn that doesn't?
The Inn Beija Flor is a misleading advertisement for travelers accompanied by their four-legged friend. Get out of this place!
