Beautiful B&B ...will definitely stay again

Mandy and Dwaine were fantastic hosts as was Charlie, the adorable dog. The room was sparkling clean with a big comfy bed. Location was great with some hiking trails very close. Delicious breakfasts ...could not begin to eat all that was offered.

So much fun and so little time

Mandy and Dwaine (managers), and OWNER/boss Charlie (the adorable puppy) welcome you to their beautiful home with huge smiles and impeccable accomodations. We stayed five nights, split between the king and queen rooms, both of which were huge- hard to choose which one we liked best. Breakfast was always awesome (homemade warm bread,yum) with multiple choices. Mandy and Dwaine were "over the top" helpful. We even learned about highway "flushing" which definitely saved us time on our trip. ( A Canadian term very new to us). My wife wanted to take Charlie home (or be adopted BY him). We are truly blessed to have found these delightful friends and peaceful home. May our paths cross again soon

Golf Getaway

This is a return visit to Hawley Place :) Mandy and Dwaine are the perfect Hosts for a B&B! And Charlie adds to the charm ...
My girlfriend and I were in the area to golf so it was a given to stay with them. The B&B remains immaculate with the beautiful garden surroundings. Mandy always has homemade scrumptious treats to enjoy in the sitting room.
They are wonderful people...always hard to leave.

English country charm & scrumptious breakfasts

Mandy and Dwaine are the perfect hosts for a B and B. Mandy’s spunky English humour and warmth make you feel at home, while Dwaine’s delicious and beautifully plated breakfasts fill you up for hours so you can explore the quaint town of Ladysmith and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The B and B is very clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed early morning coffee in comfy chairs on the wrap around porch, looking out at the birds in the garden. Nice place to read a book and relax. Super comfy bed and charming sitting area in our room’s bay window, which had privacy from neighbours because of the mature trees and shrubbery. Mandy and Dwaine are welcoming and accommodating hosts. We appreciated their restaurant recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Home Away From Home - Only Better!

I recently had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at Hawley Place and my only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! Mandy, Dwaine - and I cannot omit Charlie their adorable dog! - are the ultimate hosts and they instantly made me feel at home and well cared for. The home and gardens are truly stunning, my room was so spacious and comfortable, my breakfasts on the porch were filling, delicious and delightful and my interactions with them as well as the other lovely guests staying there really enhanced my overall experience. I will definitely be returning!
