Nice and quiet

Stayed for a few days .doing work in Fonthill. Room was clean. Supplied a bottle of water. People that work there are really nice accommodating people. Room is clean. Furniture is a little older. Tv was a good size. Room is priced right. It’s a great spot fpr working in town. Water pressure is not great. But like I said. Good price. Great people. Clean and quiet. What else can you ask for.

Super clean. Friendly staff. Great price for a Saturday night

Stayed the night in Fonthill whilst visiting family. For the price it can’t be beat. The decor is old but it’s cleaner than most. The tv was new and large and the fridge worked excellent. We had a room with two double beds and a pull out.

Quaint and quiet

My husband and I stayed here one night on our way to visit the nearby Henry of Pelham Winery. The room was clean, included a microwave and fridge, and the bed was very comfortable. The management was friendly and accommodating and gave us bottled water, as well. This is an older style motor court that we found to be charming and in a quiet, peaceful location and at a very reasonable price. We would stay here again.

great price

Room was a Queen as all he had left and the price was right. Gave me a couple of bottles of water as I headed to our room. Room clean and warm and a fridge and microwave and nice wall hung t,v.The bed was very good and also phone for local calls and wifi.

Hipwell's Motel

The owners are very friendly and helpful. As an arthritic senior, I was pleasantly surprised that when it was time to leave, the owner came over and placed our luggage in the vehicle for me. Thank you again.
Our room was a little scuffed but then again, at about the same age...so am I. The room was very clean and held everything necessary. The beds were truly comfortable and we had that extra pillow. Nice bonus. There was absolutely no mustiness or odours of any kind. We had no fear of walking barefoot. Not a speck of mildew could be seen. Great water pressure.
The hilltop pool was pristine. From the pool especially, the almost 180-degree view is amazing. You can see for miles. Autumn would be gorgeous.
It was located ten minutes from our Vineland wedding location and ten minutes from the Welland Canal. I know because we went there. St. Catherines is fifteen minutes away. The cost of our two-night stay was less than one night in St. Catherines.
We are not people that like the hustle and bustle of the city or large impersonal hotels. We have been using small town motels for decades. The Hipwell's Motel is the nicest we have stayed in.
Fonthill offers two Tim Horton's, so breakfast was only a very short drive away. This must be an up-and-coming area because there are many brand-new plazas. Restaurants served a variety of foods. Shopping covered all needs within a few minutes drive.
Now that I know this great motel is here; it will be a stop on our way through. Hopefully, we have more family occasions to attend in the area.
