Amazing accommodations with great staff, every single one of them!

A diamond hidden in the hills! Wasn’t quite sure what we would find at the end of the road but oh was it worth it! Beautiful location with an even more beautiful staff of amazing people. So helpful and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Camilla went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing but Karen made our visit even better. Great atmosphere and the accommodations were so comfy, slept like a baby every night! Definitely a place to remember!

VERY POORLY MAINTAINED AND MANAGED FACILITY

The location of the property is found via a very rough dirt road. When we arrived, the place literally looked abandoned. The surrounding grounds were so unkept, it looked like it hadn't received maintenance in years. We were the only guests in 2 days. Many issues: 1 staff member, no restaurant available, no wifi in room, pool deck and terrace deck were unsafe with twisted rotten boards with screws and nails popping out everywhere, no security, no spa, sauna and hottub extra $$ to use, no in room tv, boards on balcony were rotten and unsafe, unheated pool, and hot water was limited at best...took 10 minutes to heat up to luke warm. 2nd night we were there, neighbor was partying with extremely loud music until 3am. People wandering behind our room past midnight being loud. We brought up some of our concerns upon arrival with the owner. He was very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I ended the conversation with him knowing our concerns were not going to be taken seriously. The one staff member, Claudia, was very nice and did what she could for us. The place could be exceptional, but has been largely neglected. Very disappointing stay. I would never recommend or stay there again. For the price we paid and the missing amenities that were advertised, it was a complete rip off.

lacks a good administrator

The alleged owner had a very unpleasant attitude, taking advantage of a situation.
I say supposed owner because apparently the lodge belongs to your ex-wife's family.
The location is very good.
We didn’t try the service because we went with our own banquet and our own mtb guides.
Hygiene was quite weak: the hot tube was dirty and the towels never changed.

Hola Andres , Finalmente me topo con tu opinion por aca, despues de que borraste la de google pues se te contesto y dejo en claro lo que habia sucedido.
es una pena que las plataformas permitan a personas como tu llegar y hacer comentarios como el que dejaste aca. el hotel es de mi empresa que tiene socios y ese comentario fuera de lugar acerca de mi ex mujer y su familia lo supiste de mi boca pues estuve sentado contigo y todos tus amigos quienes amablemente me invitaron a la mesa a compartir y contarles un poco de la historia de Rocanegra , la cual fue super bien recibida ademas de los comentarios del resto de personas muy simpaticos todos acerca del hotel y sus instalaciones. las habitaciones se hicieron como se debia, el organizador de ustedes Felipe Mella ( un desastre , super desorganizado durante la estadia y haciendo perder el tiempo a mi staff ayudandolo con cosas netamente de su responsabilidad. )
Los que se quisieron aprovechar de la situacion fueron Tu y Felipe Mella, solicitaron una habitacion extra para mas personas y no querias que te las cobrara al precio normal que corresponde. no importa que el hotel este cerrado para el grupo. tu no me pagaste por todas las habitaciones , por tanto usas otra con 2 o 3 personas y eso se cobra aca y en cualquier lado....le comunique la tarifa a tu organizador y el aprobo! lo que sucede es que tu te arreglas los bigotes con el dinero de todos en el grupo! entonces no te gusto que te cobrara lo que correspondia pues te querias embolsar la diferencia y no te resulto la jugarreta.
creo que el comentario tuyo debe decir " FALTA UN HONESTO Y BUEN TESORERO PARA GRUPO DE BIKERS"
Como te lo deje en claro en google, eres una persona NON GRATA para la casa , tienes el acceso estrictamente prohibido, por mentiroso y manipulador.

Owner of the hotel Violentisimo

Violent Owner. He was tremendously aggressive, even in front of the children, without provocation. Sir really is a danger. If you find yourself on the road he throws the van at you and yells at you. An upset, children crying scared
