Nice place

Very nice little hotel. Not a cooked breakfast, but still very good. This place has a lot of potential, and is close enough to walk into Nachod centre, and far enough for peace and quiet. Be aware that tea and coffee is not available in the rooms.

Avoid at all costs

This used to be a pretty reasonable place to go for lunch, but it has gone seriously downhill. Food floating in fat, no taste, serious possibility of food being cooked and recooked over and over again. If there’s no other option, go hungry!

Staying at the Hynek.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights in early September 2014.In my opinion,it constitutes good value for money for the 26 euro (£21-50) per night price tag.The staff is friendly and helpful(one female member speaks good English)the rooms come with en-suite and tv and are spotlessly clean and the breakfast (you choose from four different options) is good.The Hynek is situated about 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Nachod,not far from the main Wroclaw-Prague highway.
There's a few bars within the vicinity and two supermarkets,Albert and Penny Market,within a ten-minute walk.
Nachod itself is a pretty little town.Its castle,main square and main church are beautiful.It's also a good place for walking:the 12 kilometre walk from Nachod to Ceska Skalice via Studnica and the four kilometre walk from Nachod to the Polish border are examples of this.
Although the Hynek has its own restaurant,I was very impressed by the meals at the Slavie,about 750 metres along the highway,in the direction of Kudowa-Slone (the Polish border.)

3 single beds for a couple?!

I booked a room for my me and my wife for 1 night. When we arrived and saw the room we were shocked - they prepared a room with 3 single beds:-( And they did not have any other room available with double-bed so we left the hotel and went to look for another.
But to give some credit to this hotel - room was quite nice and clean. There was no aircon but temperature was ok (outside was around 40 deg celsius (104 fahrenheit)). Staff was friendly and they understood our point about the single beds so there was no problem to get our money back.

Decent hotel with great breakfasts!

We spent 1 night there. It was nice, clean with nice service. The localisation is good-easy to find the hotel from main street in Nachod. What we've heard it's going to be refreshed. The restaurant in hotel is pleasant. Luckilly for us-great breakfast was included.
