Great hotel in Nyborg, quiet rooms, nice indoor pool/spa area. Good breakfast.
Very short business stay passing through Denmark. Will definitely book again if it fits my travel schedule.

We will not recommend this hotel to others at all.
The food is bad, a chef who try to make fancy things on the plate that you will not even allow your dog to eat!
Breakfast by far under Danish standard, there were not even normal good danish butter either a super Danish cheese, the bread was not possible to eat!!
If you are a smoker, then you can smoke in the parking area, what a joke!
Super expensive Hotel and F&B, for that price, you can for sure find better somewhere else.

Not exactly up to standard

Should be a good 4 star experience but was not up to standard. Room OK, but pool was broken. Had ordered a table in the restaurant, which had an exciting menu. Ordered snack for 2 people. The three were exciting and good, while the last three were boring, namely the olive and 2 different nuts, not a gourmet restaurant worthy. Ordered a bottle of white wine which was OK, but the refrigerator was put 5 m from the table and we expected so that they filled up automatically, but no we had to ask the waiter for this. Got so put the refrigerator at the table so we could fill up ourselves, not smart arrangement. At breakfast the waiter at the entrance asked if we wanted coffee for and yes, we would like to. Got directed a table, but didn't get the coffee until we asked for it several times. And the buffet was OK, but the eggs bowl was empty, and although there were several servants filling up with bread, no one saw after the filling of the rest, including eggs. Had to ask a servant for this, after which it passed several minutes before the egg came. Many servants but not professionally driven. So probably not 4 stars from us, unfortunately.

Hotel Hesselet, Best value for money

FANTASTIC stay with lovely rooms and a restaurant in a distinctive class.
Staff ask for you from arrival to departure.
If you and your partner deserve a stay of delight, relaxation and luxury, a visit to Hotel Hesselet is really recommended.

Great restaurant

We were driving to Fyn to see a certain furniture store and would have lunch on the way home. We had tried at Lieffroy restaurant, but couldn't get a table. We tried anyway. Outside, all tables stood uncovered and without guests. The weather was brilliant, blue sky and although a little wind, lovely. We were rejected because they did not have outserving. (?) We got recommended Hesselet hotel, which is just nearby. And what luck. Nice, lovely hotel, - great location right off the beach and the Great Belt Bridge in the background, and the most welcoming and skilled servant and perfectly beautiful coverage both outside and inside. And the food was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful dishes, wonderfully tasty. And then we even got to taste a local wine. It was so good that we had to buy a bottle of their sparkling wine home. It is a place that we highly recommend and will definitely come back with as soon as possible.
