Midsummer evening at Gustavelund

I spent the midsummer evening at Gustavelund with friends. Bands were great, service not. When I went to buy food and some drinks alone from the grill, the male bartender first tried to charge me 1250e. When I pointed out him that he had made a mistake, he did not even apologize, just stared at plankly and changed the sum. Then a man behind me, who acted like the owner of the place, passed me and demanded service. The bartender started to serve him, even when I had not even got one drink I had ordered yet.... again, when I pointed out to him that he had not served me yet, he stared at plankly, no apologize, but gave the drink. Dispicable man. And Gustavelund did not even had guts to answer my feedback when I gave it before. Maybe just one bad experience but did not give very good impression from the place.

Large conference hotel, nicely located on the lake

We stayed at this hotel for Juhannus evening. There was a music event (2 bands) and relatively simple grilled food.
Juhanni's fire was announced but did not take place. Why not was not clear. It was repeatedly pointed out in advance, if the fire department allows it. Lt. Fire perceptions website there should be no problem with drought. Possibly there was too much wind, but we didn't see a pile of wood anywhere.
Staff quite unfriendly, up to brazen. Some people should really consider whether service is the right area for them.

The grill on the terrace does not work

On the terrace of Gustavelund, the setting is fine with a view of the lake☀️ The restaurant on the terrace is completely overpriced, the quality of the food is poor, there is no taste at all. The service is slow and incompetent. I don't recommend eating here.

Bad food, nice hotel

Overpriced food and very slow kitchen, even fries were bad and took 50 minutes to prepare. Absolutely No recommended to eat here.
Hotel is nice and area is wonderful. I would not recommend the restaurant.

Pizza was not Good

We ate late lunch in Gustavelund’s terrace. I ordered Margerita pizza, and it should have cherry tomatoes and basilica. Well, there was two cherry tomatoes and 5 little basilica leaves. Nobody came to check if everything was allright. So I could not complain at all. World I recommend? No.
