Ideal stop to discover Mont Ventoux

Warm welcome from Véronique and Pascal during our stay in Bédoin. Very good restaurant recommendation for dinner, just a couple of steps from the hotel. Pleasant, clean room with quality bedding. Possibility to charge our electric car. Hearty and quality breakfast buffet. Useful tips for climbing Mont Ventoux on an electric bike.

Cycle touring in a heat wave

La Garance has
a fabulous location , great storage for our bikes, delicious breakfast and lovely pool area . There was no a/c in the rooms but there was a large fan.
The hotel was marked down by the attitude of the owners who were less than gracious when we arrived slightly early , in temperatures of over 40 degrees by bike . This attitude continued during our 2 night stay.
We were cycle touring in Provence and everywhere we were treated with warmth , generosity and kindness but sadly not at La Garance.

50th Ventoux trip

Hotel la Garance was everything and more than what we expected, friendly staff that went out of there way to help, clean rooms and grounds, secure cycle garage, perfect for cycling on the route for the Ventoux climb from Bedoin. The hotel is 4Km (2.4Mile) from Bedoin and taxis are available but my advise is pre-book the day before, there is a lovely restaurant next door, for more choices you would need to pop down to Bedoin, Many tanks to the staff that got up early to serve breakfast so we could beat the 36deg heat, the honesty bar is a rare thing these days so good to see the trust, very well stocked breakfast perfect set up for the cyclists. 5 star from all of us.

Welcome, view, equipment worthy of a charming hotel

We were particularly well received by Veronique and Pascal during our stay on Bedouin.
The rooms are nice, clean, facilities and quality bedding. The pool area has a breathtaking view of the Ventoux
And congratulations on the hearty breakfast.
