A haven of peace just a couple of hours from Paris

We were looking for somewhere to spend a long weekend in the country a couple of hours from Paris and this was just the place!
The B&B opened in Autumn last year in a beautiful renovated building amongst lovingly maintained gardens. Our 2 year old loved the resident animals: goats, cats, dogs, hens and a horse.
There was also a trampoline and an outdoor swimming pool which we didn't try out as the weather was a little cold in May...
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with freshly-laid eggs from the hens and home-made jam from fruit in the garden.
Ian and Nathalie were wonderful hosts, present whenever we needed anything or just to chat, without being invasive.
The location was perfect for visiting Beauval Zoo, just a 20 minute drive away, and the numerous restaurants, chateaux and vineyards in the area.
We wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Beautiful place and wonderful hosts.

We stayed for five nights at this beautiful clean comfortable place to stay with lovely surrounding countryside. We stayed in Le Jardin accommodation with lovely en-suite. The breakfast was lovely served by Ian and Natalie the perfect hosts, who made us feel really at home. It seems no expense was spared restoring this beautiful barn and with the animals in the paddock next to it you would be hard pressed to find a more stunning and tranquil rural setting.
It is perfectly placed to explore the beauty of the Loire Valley with its Chateaux and charming villages and Beauval Zoo Park at only 20 minutes away.

Peaceful rural retreat

I recently stayed here for a couple of days while visiting some of the Loire vineyards and it's an absolute gem. Ian and Nathalie are welcoming and genial hosts and the place itself, close to the lesser known but no less beautiful River Cher, is perfect. Both as a peaceful place to relax and as a base to explore some of the region's wineries, chateaux and rural villages and towns. The accommodation itself is comfortable and stylishly furnished with beautiful views of the surrounding area and the morning coffee and breakfast were second to none. What a discovery! Can't wait to go back.

Petit coin paisible

Très agréable séjour dans un cadre magnifique, un hôte au petit soin et très courtois. Nous avons pris 2 nuits et on serait bien rester la semaine tellement on s'y sent bien. La chambre belle vue est grande et spacieuse et largement suffisant pour 2 adulte et 1 enfant. Tout est propre et soigné. Les hôtes s'occupe aussi très bien de leur animaux a l'extérieur que l'on peux allé voir. La piscine est bien entretenue et propre même pour un mois d'avril (non chauffé mais pour les courageux elle est ouverte de 16h a 20h) un trampoline et une aire de foot est la la disposition des enfants a l'extérieur.
Je recommande vivement a ceux qui voudraient y faire une escale.

Superbe

Nous avons séjourné une nuit (2 adultes 1 enfant et 1 bébé) après une journée au zoo. L'endroit est superbe. L'accueil est très bien. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et disponibles. La chambre est très propre. Et le petit déjeuner est copieux.
Nous recommandons ++++. Nous y reviendrons si l'occasion se présente.
