I was offered the toilet to prepare for a wedding

I had booked a room at the Hôtel Le Sauvage a month in advance, stating that I had to attend a wedding the same day and that I needed access to the room in the early afternoon to prepare.
Check-in is set at 6pm (which is already very late for a hotel), so I politely asked for an accommodation or at least a small temporary space to change.
Not only was no solution proposed, but I was told that the only possible alternative was... the restaurant toilet. I find this unacceptable and disrespectful.
In the end, I was not able to use the room at all, nor enjoy the service I paid for. The hotel remained inflexible despite several messages sent in advance.
I do not recommend this property to anyone who expects a minimum of flexibility or customer consideration.

Nous sommes désolés que votre expérience ait été décevante. Nous souhaitons toutefois préciser que les horaires d’arrivée sont clairement indiqués dans l’ensemble de nos documents ainsi que sur toutes nos fiches de réservation (Booking....).
Ces informations sont communiquées afin que chaque client puisse en prendre connaissance avant son arrivée et organiser son séjour en conséquence.

Good welcome !

Small, friendly hotel, very relaxing with a view of a charming little square. Very quiet on the weekend. Correct room and bedding. Decent meal and hearty breakfast with real croissants from the bakery!
Heartwarming welcome.

Terrible

The woman in the hall was the most unpleasent I've ever seen. She didn't give a sht of what I asked for. I think is too expensive for what they offer, and the breakfast really really poor. Please, there are a lot of better hotels than that one.

Average two-star Hotel

We spent one night in this hotel on our way from Switzerland to Brittany.
The hotel in in the middle of Chateau Renard on the main road crossing the village, very easy to find.
The room was very simple but alright. Also the bathroom was ok except for the shower whose drain was a bit blocked. We did not have breakfast. Free wifi was available.
All in all worth the value for a short stay.
