Very good stop over

Very easy to reach and parking in front of each room (as motel)
Very practical way to get the keys
Large rooms and bath room + Nespresso coffee machine
Not the best mattress but for the price, can’t complain.
Next door there are plenty of stores, pizza, bakery, pharmacy
I will remember.

BASIC BUT FUNCTIONAL

This hotel is situation on a major road just opposite the commercial area. It would seem that is us used by travelling workers. It offers three types of rooms - a very small room for up to two people, a very small studio for up to two people, or a fairly spacious apartement that sleeps 4, which is fine for two, but would be cramped for 4 people. The rooms are clean and functional but the decor is drab. The rooms at the front are noisy, so it is advisable to request a room at the back and preferable on the first floor to avoid having car headlights glaring into your room from the car park at night.
Although situated on a very busy, noisy major road, the hotel is very conveniently located near the commercial area where there is a big supermarked and there is a pizza restaurant just next door to the hotel.
One MAJOR PLUS about this hotel is that all rooms have a nespresso coffee machine with excellent coffee. Breakfast can be request for 5 Euros but consists of a small box of orange a croissant and a cake and is delivered to your room. It is probably best to purchase breakfast from the supermarket the day before. There is a good bakery not too far away.
Good hotels are very difficult to find in the Bellegarde area and I selected this one because I was able to have an apartment, but for two people this is not good value for money. Despite not being very pleased impressed the hotel, it would consider staying there again in an apartment.
The reception staff are friendly and speak English, French and Polish

Good night's rest after a long drive.

This is just a low cost stopover option. Bed was very comfortable and the female receptionist was extremely helpful. A 5 minute walk to McDonalds but a short drive is needed to reach the centre of town.

A great night's rest

We stopped here on our way to Padova, hadn't got a reservation, it was the first place we came to after getting off the A40. Our only criteria was a bed and coffee making facilities. Pleasantly surprised by the accommodation offered. A good sized room with a double bed and coffee machine, satellite television, well laid out bathroom with a really good shower. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly and pointed out places to get breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable which makes a change in most places. The rates were very reasonable so would recommend this place. It is usually for more longer staying guests according to the receptionist, lots of workers is their usual clientele so the have units with kitchen facilities too. Overall, a great little find.

No frills stopover hotel

If you are looking for a place to stay for more than one or two days, this is not the place for you.
If you are just stopping over, Pierre Blanche is just what you need. A clean room and sheets, a good sized shower and toilet. There is a Nespresso in the room. No fuss.
There is wifi and no breakfast. The best description would be a motel.
There is no reception and check in is automated which is odd, but works.
It is slightly out of town so you need to drive 2-3km back into town to find a restaurant. These is a supermarket across the road.
