Magical trip! ❤️

The Claire de la Plume restaurant is located at the foot of the Grignan castle. You can dine either in a delightful garden, under a glass roof, or inside. The welcome is warm. This 9-course gastronomic journey was flawless. A special favorite for the John Dory, of incredible finesse, as well as for the lamb cooked to perfection! Thank you to the whole team in the kitchen!
If I had to share an area for improvement: special care with wine service because a few drops unfortunately splashed during table service.
We will return with immense pleasure.

Superb

Very successful atmosphere of a house from the past with antique furniture and almost the smell of floor wax!
Superb breakfast in the lush garden.
Attentive and charming staff.

Good experience

Pleasant setting and helpful staff, the food is good and the service is fast. However, you can find equal quality in the area for a lower price. The experience is nice, a little surprise at dessert time: the men don't get the same ones as the women (too bad when they would have preferred ours)

Nice place to stay for a night

Main reason to stay here is the restaurant - reviewed separately - which was astounding.
Staff were very nice and the hotel is in a lovely spot. Our room was pleasant although somewhat dated, especially the bathroom. We went to the pool at the sister hotel, having initially tried the Mediterranean garden with freshwater pool which felt a bit unloved and wasn’t tempting as a place to relax in the heat.
Didn’t try breakfast as we were still quite full from dinner.
Would definitely return but mainly for the restaurant.

Perfect Location and Comfortable

The hotel is in a perfect location at the heart of the village, with parking; ask for directions for best way to access the hotel and avoid very narrow roads - arrival may be tricky. We stayed several nights in the "Jaune" room on the 2nd floor (3rd level for US); no elevator. The bedroom was spacious with a small charming private patio, with a table and chairs, overlooking tile roofs toward the castle, perfect for morning breakfast; the room has a machine to make coffee and tea. The bathroom was on the small side but convenient and well equipped, including a minibar/refrigerator. Caution! there is a step down between the bedroom and the bathroom not obvious to see the first time - could be better marked. To our surprise, the content of the minibar was included in the cost of our room, including a bottle of champagne, beers, water etc. A new bottle of water was offered every day, which was well appreciated during the June heat wave. Wished the refrigerator was a little colder. We would definitely go back to this hotel.
