Thanks again to Nico and Sandrine for this vacation at the Le Saillet campsite.
If you are looking for a friendly campsite, run by smiling and caring people, you are in the right place.
The campsite is magnificent, located in a way to satisfy lovers of nature and hiking.
The beauty of the place is all the more appreciable when you taste Nico's dishes!
In short, a pleasant, family-friendly campsite, run by a team that will welcome you with open arms, always in a good mood!

Camping le Saillet
The cleanliness of the chalet leaves much to be desired… dirty under the beds and behind the furniture, etc.
Strong heat in the chalet (during a heatwave) and no fan to replace the air conditioning; impossible to sleep in the upstairs room.
Fridge turned off upon our arrival and windows wide open, hence the heat in the chalet.
On the snack side, there is no hygiene; the cook cooks shirtless and eats at the same time as the customers, so we wait to be served the rest, and on the tables, the ketchup provided was expired since February 2026, as well as the mustard from May 2026.
I do not recommend this camping.

Nous prenons vos remarques concernant la propreté et le snack au sérieux et les avons transmises à nos équipes afin d'effectuer les vérifications nécessaires.
Concernant le chalet, les fenêtres étaient volontairement ouvertes avant votre arrivée afin d'aérer le logement après le ménage. Lors des épisodes de forte chaleur, cela ne suffit malheureusement pas toujours à maintenir une température agréable. Nous comprenons que la canicule ait pu rendre vos nuits moins confortables.
Nous souhaitons également apporter une précision : après la restitution des clés, nos clients quittent habituellement l'établissement. L'accès aux infrastructures pour le reste de la journée est possible uniquement sur demande préalable et selon les disponibilités. Le jour de votre départ, nous vous avons exceptionnellement permis de profiter de l'ensemble de nos installations (Home ball, pétanque, piscine...) jusqu'en fin de journée, dans le souci de rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible.
Nous regrettons que cette attention n'ait pas été reflétée dans votre appréciation. Nous restons néanmoins à l'écoute des retours de nos clients, car ils nous permettent d'améliorer continuellement la qualité de nos prestations.

I will not return
I am disappointed with this camping. I expected better than this. We stayed the night of June 20 to 21, 2026 (beginning of the heatwave)
We were housed in a chalet for 6 people.
Here are all the disappointments that make me not want to return to this camping.
Windows wide open in the chalet when we arrived at 4 PM. I understand that it needs to be aired out, but when there are high temperatures, please think about closing them before noon.
The fridge was off upon our arrival; similarly, please think about turning it on earlier when high heat is forecasted.
Please note that linens are provided (mentioned on the site), but the bathroom towels also serve for the pool and they are far from being large. For 6 people, we did not have enough and were forced to take the smallest bath towels that are the size of a bath mat for the pool.
The rooms are not air-conditioned, I can hear that, but a campsite with 12 cabins could be equipped with fans. We asked the reception if it was possible to lend us one. Response: it is planned that we will buy some.
And the worst part is seeing a fan at the reception and in the kitchen on the snacking side; it is good to think of your staff, but do not forget the customers. So, as a result, we slept very poorly because the rooms on the upper floor are like an oven.
The pool is very simple, clean, but it is a shame that there are no lounge chairs.
On the snacking side, it was not bad, but be careful; the menu stated chicken supreme with mushroom sauce. The supreme was good, but just mushrooms placed on top with a hint of balsamic; I expected a sauce with fresh cream, mushrooms, etc... what a shame.
At noon, we were suggested a coquelet, which was very good, but we still wanted to see the menu. It seemed to bother the waitress to give them to us, as we asked three times in the span of one minute, especially since we were the only table and there were 15 steps to take to fetch the menus.
The staff eats at the same time as the customers; I find that a bit inappropriate. I worked for over 10 years in the hospitality industry; I always ate before or after service, but never during.
The cook works shirtless in the intense heat; I understand it is hot, but in terms of hygiene, it is not great. It is better that Philippe Etchebest does not pass by here.
Also, be careful with the ketchup packets that have been expired since last February.
In your gizzard salad, there are two crusts of bread on the plate; I wonder what they are for because they look like frozen bread with nothing on top and are very hard; it would be better to put nothing or toast them and add an ingredient on top.
However, the prices remain reasonable.
On the other hand, the breakfast is good: hot drink, cold drink, croissant, fresh baguette, and two kinds of jam for €6.
For the small restrooms near the reception, toilet paper is provided, but only in the main entrance; you really need to plan the quantity before entering, so dear customers, please remember to bring your own toilet paper.
Sorry for all these negative points, but I cannot let this pass. I hope you will take these criticisms into account because this campsite has potential and is well located near a river. The setting is pleasant.

small cottage in the campsite of Lestelle Bettaram
We rented a cottage for one night.Camping very nice, very good.place in the middle of nature and not far from the village. Enjoyed the snac , friendly welcome.
Only one big review for rental; no minimum made available in terms of hygiene and ingredients (washing liquid toilet paper. towel everything, soap..., boring when you arrive on an afternoon when all shops are closed

Cool, nice and affordable
Super nice simple and unpretentious campsite with a friendly team. Good Value Award with honorable services... we highly recommend... ideal for a discovery of the Pyrenees...
