Happy camping
At the dumpster we had fun nights. At the restaurant a little less.
We had to walk quite a bit for the toilet / shower. This was especially annoying when my husband had fallen on the property and tore his ankle ligament. I did miss first aid at the campsite at the time. Fortunately there were very nice French camping guests who helped us and gave tips.
At the reception they did their best to extend our stay so my husband could recover.
Lifeguards were sometimes strict but just. Still special that some people sometimes make it so difficult for them when it is just a well-known rule in France to wear tight swimming trunks. Nice how they handled this.
We have been to the HARIBO museum, caves, train and bamboo Museum. We have visited several villages especially sauve we found very beautiful.

Aging accommodations
Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the accommodation ("2-bedroom cottage") which corresponded neither to the photos/videos displayed on the site, nor to the standard expected of a 4-star. It was very aging, in some places even damaged or dysfunctional (shower door, window, or shutters that stick).
The campsite indicated to us that for the same category, we could indeed have a more or less recent mobile home (however, the price remains the same!). Faced with our disappointment, only a €100 discount voucher for a future stay was offered to us. But we obviously do not intend to return.

Nos photos et présentations reflètent fidèlement la catégorie de chaque hébergement, même si, au sein d'une même gamme, des variations de modèles ou de millésimes peuvent exister.
Le mobil-home que vous avez occupé reste tout à fait conforme aux normes de notre gamme standard. Concernant les éléments de mobilier ou de menuiserie légèrement abîmés que vous mentionnez, une simple alerte à la réception pendant votre séjour aurait permis à notre équipe technique d'intervenir immédiatement pour les corriger.
Bien que votre hébergement soit resté pleinement fonctionnel, nous vous avons proposé un geste commercial à titre de courtoisie. Nous regrettons que cette attention n'ait pas suffi à atténuer votre déception.

Security guards and staff very problematic
A security guard also said "it's a good thing you are minors," because otherwise he would have hit us.
This is unacceptable, especially since the son of one of the security guards, who works at the campsite, came to accost an 18-year-old girl in my family, alone at the river, to suggest she go for a ride and ask for her number. Going out at 2 a.m. is not acceptable to them, but bothering a girl alone at the river during her vacation apparently is.

Nous prenons acte de votre message, mais nous tenons à rétablir fermement la réalité des faits.
Notre équipe de sécurité, fidèle au camping depuis plusieurs saisons, accomplit son travail avec une rigueur irréprochable. Dans notre établissement, le calme nocturne n'est pas négociable. Quand des mineurs tentent de créer des attroupements ou de déambuler sur le camping entre 3h et 5h du matin, il est du devoir de nos vigiles de les recadrer et de les renvoyer dans leurs hébergements. La gestion et la surveillance de jeunes enfants ou d'adolescents à ces heures tardives relèvent en premier lieu de la responsabilité parentale, non de celle du camping.
Quant à vos accusations de menaces physiques et de harcèlement, elles sont purement diffamatoires. Nous ne tolérerons aucune calomnie visant nos collaborateurs qui veillent, nuit après nuit, à la sécurité et au repos de centaines de familles.

Super campsite
Camping has river and nice swimming pool with water playground. Sanitary is clean. And if something is broken, it is quickly repaired. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Animation. Everything in French.
