Simply exceptional

The hotel offers an exceptional view of the Valinco Gulf but also access to a very pretty, quiet little beach below. The pools are simply magnificent. The rooms are quite small but functional and tastefully decorated. The bedding is of high quality. The staff is worthy of what one can expect from an establishment of this type. The quality and variety of the breakfasts are worth mentioning. We did not note any false notes following this 3rd stay (Marinca+moulin). Congratulations to the entire team as well as to the Floriani family for the quality of their work.

Just needs a little attention to detail

This family owned hotel just misses out on getting it totally right. The position of the property is magnificent and the view from the hotel bar and restaurants heavenly. Yet for elderly guests the walk down to the beach and beachside restaurant is demanding.
They appears to have envisaged a lift but failed to install it. There is a golf car service but it’s still quite a climb. The service is professional but there doesn’t appear to be a manager or host, just a host of young trainees for the season from Hôtel school who need to be encouraged to greet the guests with a smile. The restaurant is hugely expensive and pretty average. Catch of the day was 200 euros (1.2 kilo fish) and the chicken Caesar was raw with the skin on (not the breast we expected). The lobster roll didn’t appear to have any lobster in it and was burnt. With just a little attention to detail, this place could wonderful. There is a magnificent beach with great bathing but no facilities by the beach other than beds. The villa comes without any daily service which after 4 days gets a bit grubby.

Good

The beach hut went very well, excellent meal, hearty and delicious dessert. Frankly, price-wise. It is really worth it. However, the big downside of the establishment, it is impossible to access the pools and all the beach lounge chairs are reserved for hotel guests.

A Truly Exceptional Stay

We have just returned from a wonderful two-week stay at Hotel Marinca, and it was everything we had hoped for and more.
This is a true five-star hotel in every sense of the word. The setting is breathtaking, the facilities are exceptional, and everything reflects the level of luxury you would expect from a property of this standard. The dining is equally outstanding, whether enjoying the Michelin-starred experience at La Verrière or the more relaxed yet effortlessly stylish atmosphere of La Paillote, where the excellent food and warm service are matched only by the breathtaking postcard-worthy views from every table.
We arrived after what had been a rather difficult period for our family, and from the moment we arrived, the kindness, warmth and genuine care shown by the team helped us relax and truly enjoy our holiday. Their thoughtfulness made a real difference to us, and we are sincerely grateful for it.
Every single member of the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. A very special thank you to Inès, who was always there whenever we needed anything. She dealt with every request with kindness, efficiency and genuine care, and worked incredibly hard to ensure that we had the best possible holiday. Her dedication to the guests is remarkable and deserves special recognition.
We would also like to thank Leo, the manager at La Paillote, and his entire team. Leo's warmth, professionalism and genuine kindness made every meal a pleasure. He looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay and, together with his team, helped turn what had been a difficult period for our family into two weeks of relaxation, happiness and wonderful memories.
Throughout our stay, we felt genuinely looked after. The attention to detail, the warmth of the staff and the willingness to help at every opportunity made this a truly memorable holiday.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire Marinca team for making our stay so special. We very much hope to return in the future!

Hotel for couples

Beautiful hotel with a very beautiful small beach (fee required), excellent breakfast, gourmet restaurant to discover, a little disappointed by the beach hut, beach restaurant (with fish supposedly fresh but with a very strong smell of ammonia, very good service at lunch but horrible in the evening where you have to rush to eat, the appetizers arrived after the appetizer). The guest manager unfortunately does not treat all guests the same way, she greeted all the guests, except us... the driver upon our arrival criticized us for having had to wait for us for a long time. We had, however, notified the hotel that our flight was delayed. Too bad.
