Very good value for money. Cheap and cheerful but lovely. Has a lovely little pool and a nice restaurant and very good pod and breakfast. The amenities for its size and price are adequate: It’s not the ritz but it’s a nice getaway with a few extras that make this place great value for money.

At the toll

Actually, the toll to Metz is 4.80 euros. If you leave Saint-Avold, you only pay 70 cents. Immediately afterwards you reach the Novotel, which is located in the forest on a four-lane road. The parking lot is large, the rest rather not so much. There is no elevator, no balcony and no bathtub. The water supply in the shower was quite economical. Breakfast included components of an Ibis breakfast. However, there were a few extra things. There was no sliced cheese. I didn't ask, though.
All in all, a slightly below-average Novotel

Not worth the money

This hotel does not deserve the name NOVOTEL. It lacks professional management, dining room not clean (lots of flies), old hotel that needs urgently renovation. Our TV and airco did not work. Asked staff to come to my room, but they could fix it. Breakfast was not good. This was not worth the money, ie 150 euro.

Top-notch

We came from May 14 to 16 for the French Mountain Biking Championship in which my son participated.
We were delighted; the room and restrooms were clean, the breakfast was excellent and very varied, the staff was very friendly, and even the maintenance staff was very kind and friendly upon our departure. I recommend this hotel

Halfway House.

We used the Novotel for an overnight stop on our way to Austria. It is situated very close to the main autoroute that serves both Saarbrucken and Strasbourg. (Approx 500 mtrs)
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food-wise, although limited. Of a good quality. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel has a pool and one can sit and sip a cold one on the terrace. Plenty of parking space and for those with EV's. Adequate charging points.
A good choice for an overnight stay!
