Pleasant!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Our room was very, very nice. Great bathtub and cozy bed. Breakfast was manageable. Had to get my vegetable milk out of the car because you really only had milk available. There was little choice for vegetarians. Vegetables were just tomatoes and cucumbers. Mini cereal selection. The service was in the morning was not really good. When someone comes to breakfast, you ask what you want to drink. The coffee we were put at the table was not so delicious. Later seen that you have an espresso machine available. Had ordered me another espresso which then tasted good.
The dinner, on the other hand, was top and the service in the evening very good.

Daily but also no more than that

On the German motorways there is always work , which sometimes causes immense traffic jams and therefore we only arrived late at the hotel. On the way we had called if there would be anything to eat - a sandwich was ok - but the kitchen was already closed and there was no one left , it was then 8.50pm. That is not really customer friendly.
Occasionally a tacky Mc Donalds, that goes in with me ...
There was parking in front of the door and 50 meters further there also appears to be parking of the hotel, well arranged. The reception was in cauliflower English, the average Slovenian street sweeper - we came back from Slovenia - speaks better English than the reception lady here.
We had booked a room - suite, this turned out to be two rooms, one with a King size bed and one with a sofa bed, so you don't have much use for a suite if you are only two. There were also two bathrooms, both with small but good shower, toilet and sink, which is handy with a madame who takes 45 minutes in the morning to become presentable.
The style was a bit Scandinavian with (not excessively ) wear. Parquet on the floor, on ceiling would have been weird. No safe. Bad Wifi, watching a movie not possible! . A good Nespresso machine though. On large terrace - not used - stood
sufficient furniture for 4 guests, also sunbeds. View of a hedge .
Breakfast was not really extensive, but adequate. Eggs in containers were dehydrated. Coffee was in jugs and my first one was cold.
Dinner (second evening ) was ok. Restaurant would have Michelin mention. We ate a la carte starter/main/dessert , drank 2 x quarter liters of local wine and a bottle of water and were only 135,00 lost. Very reasonable price for good food. The entry in the Michelin guide will not change to a star entry . Service was friendly but weird yet in such a hotel, only one person spoke decent English.

Good hotel and restaurant

Good hotel. Service is good rooms maybe somewhat old. Good breakfast. The parking was small and we had to park on an adjoining street.
The restaurant very well but for the type of food they serve more expensive than others similar.

Always delicious

The hotel is beautifully situated in the vineyards. The area is quiet and the views are beautiful. The staff is super friendly, attentive and caring. The rooms are clean, the beds are nice. For the hot days there is air conditioning. The bathrooms neat and modern. There are fine care products.
We have been coming here for years and love to come many more!
