Good overnight stay
The room seemed newly renovered and was very big (superior).

Disappointing room quality and unprofessional handling of criticism
On the first stay, my room was right next to technical facilities. The soundscape was so loud that it was clearly audible even when the window was closed and restful sleep was unthinkable.
On my second stay I had another problematic room. Every time someone walked down the hall, the entire room vibrated noticeably. In addition, the doors in the room were not properly sealed, so they rattled and literally “shook” throughout – both at night and in the morning. The feeling was actually comparable to mild shocks.
However, the handling at the reception during check-out was particularly disappointing. When I made my criticism calmly and objectively, I was merely told that this problem was known – with the suggestion that I had booked the cheapest room category. There was no excuse or accommodation; instead, the reaction was rather dismissive.
For a house with this aspiration, that is unacceptable in my view. Even in a lower room category, a minimum of comfort and, above all, respectful handling of guest feedback should be taken for granted.
I can not recommend the hotel at this time.
