Interesting and nice hotel

We stayed for one night in this nice hotel. The room with bathroom was fine and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner which was OK, but not more. We read the interesting history of the hotel in the menu card, and the restaurant was very cosy and nicely decorated. The service was excellent both by the owner and his son. We will come back.

Excellent! (Review for the Restaurant)

I flew from the US to attend our yearly family reunion dinner. We were lucky to have reserved a whole room, we had our privacy. Nice decorated room. Great service! Very friendly! Just totally awesome! Great memories. Can I give 10 stars?

Excellent hotel, great service

This family-run hotel was excellent. Friendly and helpful service, everything newly decorated, clean, comfortable and very large room, good breakfast. Secure covered bicycle storage.
We also ate dinner in the hotel, and that was very good too. Only niggle was that the wi-fi was contracted out and not included in the price

What more could you want ?

We spent a night here on a bike holiday from BErlin -excellent bike trails by the way and after 70km cycling from central Berlin, this was an excellent place to arrive at. Excellent evening meal for starters. Clean and spacious rooms. I suppose that the highlight was probably the breakfast - I don't think that I have ever tasted a better buffet, everything from delicious herring spreads to delicious jams. A clear 5 stars !

Hotel, Restaurant, Service, Umgebung alles Top.

Wer sich für die Geschichte der Luftfahrt, dem Leben Hans Grades sowie der ehemaligen "Interflug" der DDR interessiert, kommt irgendwann an Borkheide und dann am Fliegerheim nicht mehr vorbei. Ideal gelegen, in der Nähe des Hans Grade Museums in der IL 18, nicht weit weg vom Ehrengrab / Friedhof und an einer am Wochenende wenig befahrenen Hauptstraße gelegen, werden hier gute Küche, verbunden mit einem sehr netten und jungen Service verbunden. Im Rahmen der Buchung wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass zeitgleich eine Hochzeit gefeiert wird und es "lauter" werden könnte. Kein Schimmer. Sicher, dass Zimmer "Nr. 1" liegt nach vorn (Straßenseite) in Richtung Bahnhof, aber die Anzahl der täglich ab- und durchfahrenden Züge hält sich in Grenzen und man hört den Gesellschaftsraum nur aus weiter Ferne. Parkplatz ist am Haus, Supermarkt und ein wunderschönes Bad im Imbiss sind fußläufig zu erreichen.
