Poor service

In the room, the air conditioning was out of order, resulting in an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius during the day and at night. After multiple contacts with the reception, the hotel manager was informed, and it was determined that the air conditioning was not operational, as it was still in heating mode. Due to the inconveniences, a room change and a refund were offered. However, this refund has never reached me.... Multiple contacts failed, in my opinion, due to the unwillingness to find a satisfactory solution. Initially, it was claimed that the refund was initiated on April 12, 2026. When I proved that no refund had arrived, it was then claimed on June 3 that one must contact a third-party provider. All in all, it seems there is no interest in taking responsibility for one's own shortcomings and offering a satisfactory solution. They refer to increasingly absurd methods of processing the refund....I would not book this hotel again due to the miserable service. Also, the breakfast room is far too small for the size of the hotel.

Centrally located hotel with friendly staff and good service.

We stayed in Freiburg for a weekend and booked the very centrally located hotel.
It is a nice little hotel and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good - appropriate for the hotel category.
The parking at the hotel was convenient.

Rooms in the basement

The room was very large, clean, as was the bathroom.
It was, and we would have liked to know that it was in the basement. For this, we found the price of 223.00 euros (without breakfast, dog, and underground parking) (booked via booking.com) to be inappropriate - we (personal feeling) felt the room was too dark and the room scent was unpleasant - this is different for everyone - we only wished that the location of the room had been communicated - then we would have never booked this.

Pleasant city hotel

A very pleasant hotel. Room and bathroom are big enough for a few days stay, the decor isg modern u d friendly, with closed windows it was very quiet. The city center is just a few steps away. The beds were comfortable and there were pleasantly soft pillows.
The breakfast here is sumptuous, well done. Bad luck was this huge tour group, which literally milled off the buffet - but it was followed up, only you could hardly follow. Never mind, the breakfast is unusually extensive and good for the category.
Parking is so close to the center always unfunny, so definitely try to reserve in the hotel - there is a small underground parking, even with electricity electric cars. Without a reservation you will not be successful here.
Pleasant city hotel, comfortable. Will come back again
