All around with service, rooms, sauna area, breakfast and dinner exceedingly satisfied.
We stayed for a weekend holiday with two couples at the Romantikhotel Knippschild and were extremely satisfied with service, rooms, sauna area, breakfast and dinner all around.
As an aside, it should be noted that we also liked the location of the hotel very much and we made two very nice walks / hikes to the Hohler Stein, among others.
The hotel and rooms are clean, cozy and harmoniously decorated. Rooms sufficiently large and well equipped.
The breakfast buffet is very varied, many regional typical products. The food was served and laid out in small quantities and was constantly replenished so that it was always fresh. In addition to coffee specialities from a fully automatic machine, there were also thermoses on the table. We particularly liked the bread selection.
On both nights we ate from the menu, which was supplemented by a season ticket. Great dishes, tasteful, also regionally typical and nicely arranged.
We liked to use the hotel saunas and were very pleased with the small sauna village of the hotel.
Recently, the whole staff was friendly and accommodating.
We highly recommend and will gladly come back!

Highly recommended
Staff at reception and service are very friendly and attentive. The room is very well equipped. The wellness area, is lovingly designed and has a sufficiently large relaxation area. The food and breakfast buffet is very delicious and rich

Always happy to go to Sauerland to Knippschild!!
The Romantikhotel Knippschild has developed steadily in recent decades both in terms of equipment and in the range of food. You can tell from the menu that the chefs have learned from the best. The menus are top-notch and skillfully put together by the boss! As always, the boss is close to the customer and regularly inquires whether everything is okay.
The rooms are always very well maintained and are regularly renovated. The staff is super friendly and helpful - there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Simply in peace all dreams come true, at Knippschild dreams come true.Room, cleanliness, friendliness
We come to the Hotel Knippschild every year for at least a short break, we love the great ambience, the friendliness of the entire staff and the great team.
The food is varied with game and all the goodies, even our friends who have been on our trip to the Hotel Knippschild are totally enthusiastic.
A must is the annual goose arrangement ,the hammer as we Rhinelanders say;;;; super prepared and served by the boss Klaus personally, we enjoy the evening to the fullest with nice conversations, and every now and then the little jokes from the boss.
The Kaiserschmarrn is better and delicious than in Bavaria, where we are also on holiday more often,,,, just heavenly and delicious.
As mentioned before, we will definitely come to Klaus and Anette 15 times and love to be pampered so great, there would be no place here to describe the great gestures and kindnesses.
We always come back and look forward to the next visit with our friends.

Just beautiful
A visit that was simply beautiful from the moment we entered the house until we left after 3 days. The reception: friendly, attentive - with no memory gaps The service - attentive, competent, friendly, not pushy The kitchen - everything that was served was excellent in terms of taste. The food was always at the right temperature and presented in an impressive way. The hotel - you feel very well looked after. The wellness area: rustic, cozy - to relax and feel good Conclusion: we have to go back - and not just to recharge our batteries
