A million times better than what we could've been at!

Arrived at the adjacent camping site (Waldblick I think) after cycling 80km on our cycle tour. We were due to stay at the bungalow. It stunk and had mosquitos so we told the campsite owner we wouldn't be staying there. With no place to stay, we phoned Haus am See. The staff were incredibly helpful, on the phone and once we arrived, and understood our lack of German skills! We had a wonderful room! The evening meal was wonderful (and cheap), sitting out on the terrace overlooking the lake in summer sun! Perfect! The hotel was €5 cheaper than the campsite, with breakfast included (which was also wonderful)! Highly recommend!

Still something to improve

My husband grew up in Löcknitz.
After 50 years he wanted to visit his old home and see what happened to the beach resort and the restaurant.
We explored the area and stopped at the restaurant for lunch.
I must say, I wasn't entirely convinced of the food. It was very well served but it tasted dry and bland.Also it was lukewarm.
The service unfortunately left much to be desired. They were very nice, but
it took forever until finally our order came. Also to pay they waited a very long time.
I think it's a pity and maybe you should see if there's anything that can be changed.

Polite staff, quiet and tranquil environment, clean and pleasant rooms, amazing food !

I have stayed with my son in this hotel in June - 3 nights.
The location is perfect, just by the lake, close to Szczecin.
Bring your bike and enjoy a ride around the lake.
The rooms were pleasant and clean, with a comfy bed - asked for extra pillow which was not a problem.
The view from our room was amazing.

The food was great, schnitzel, chips, steak ,soup, salad all delicious .
Spoke to the owners -lovely couple, their English is very good so had no trouble communicating, plus they have recommended places to see and fun activities for me and my son - in Szczecin and surrounding area.
Highly recommended!

Friendly, clean and well priced

Hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Food was wonderful and environment in which you can eat your meal ( weather and season permitting) just adds to the pleasure of being there. Room was large and very clean with a terrific view over lake. Really enjoyed our stay there

Kulinarisches Kleinod

Wenn man sich nach Löcknitz verirrt, so wie wir, wird man nach einer Wanderung um den See (sofern man die 4 Millionen Moskitos überlebt hat ) mit einem kulinarischen Kleinod überrascht. Es erwartet einen eine kleine aber feine Speisekarte. Die Gerichte sind sehr liebevoll zubereitet und geschmacklich auf sehr hohem Niveau. Auch der Service lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Daher von uns eine absolute Empfehlung. Hunde sind ebenfalls willkommen.
