Terrific find!!! Highly recommended

Driving across Europe to the Czech Republic I needed a place to rest up near Nuremberg and what a find courtesy of my satnav! Nestled in the woods in Rummelsberg this little hotel presents as a modern but quaint haven. All I wanted was an affordable single room with a shower and for a little over €60 it was just perfect. The receptionist (a Czech lady actually) was sympathetic to my unannounced arrival. I had literally driven from Dunkirk that morning. The room was clean and comfortable, great shower and the beer really hit the spot. But the highlight aside from the friendly staff was the meal......a very nice high end menu but I chose the burger......and I have to say this was THE best I have ever had and really put the icing on the cake. If you want a beautiful stay within striking distance of Nuremberg (and the delightful Altdorf) then Hotel Anders is unbeatable!!! And if you've never been to Nuremberg old town...put it on your list, you won't be disappointed!

Quiet location

We had a quiet, bright, very spacious room, which we liked a lot. There is parking in front of the door, and there are also places to walk dogs; the evening meal we had (curry and fish) was OK, but there is only food available until 6 p.m. What wasn't so good: the WiFi only works via tokens, and access is complicated. We found the breakfast to be extremely banal, and the annoying radio music was unnecessary. However, this house is definitely recommended for one or two nights.

Quiet setting, nice food

On our way back from Slovenia to Belgium, we stopped here. Our room was standard with a tiny bathroom, but ok for 1 night. Dinner was wonderful and breakfast was simple, but good. Overall we were happy, price-quality wise.

Quite and clean, helpful staff, good breakfast

Located in a very quite place, with free parking in front and free WiFi,
Breakfast (included) is very good, and if you request something special they will do it with a smile and made sure you got it exactly as you wanted.
Rooms are nice and big, with large windows facing the forest on the back.

Good decision to choose for Hotel Anders in Rummelsberg It was a good choice to stay in your hotel. Staff very, very nice and helpful. The room cosy and clean,absolutely alright, price/performance good
