Very warm welcome

Very welcoming hotel with a good location at the entrance to Trier.
A very clean room and very comfortable bedding
The hotel restaurant is very good and the prices correct , breakfast very varied and hearty.
I recommend this hotel.

Good location and super tasty food.

Wonderful hotel with good beds and comfortable rooms, worth three stars. But mainly a very friendly, family atmosphere, an excellent breakfast and a fantastic restaurant.
The menu seems rather limited, but every dish is delicious!
It is located on a busy road, but that does not really bother you and you are only 2 kilometers from Trier.

Highly recommended, especially if you want to take your dog with you

Very hospitable hotel, where you will receive the most friendly and personal welcome. The room we stayed in had very comfortable beds and was always very clean. A special bed and a drinking bowl had been placed for our dog. The dog's approach was also endearing. Ideal to stay with dogs.

Nice hotel, recommended

A rare case of better than expected. Lovingly run hotel with attention to detail. The food in the restaurant is very good, fresh products prepared with skill.

Fantastic place to stay - very dog friendly too

We stayed here for 2 nights on our drive from the UK to Austria, with our 2 dogs. It’s a traditional hotel that has been run by 5 generations of the same family. We were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was quite simply the comfiest I have ever slept on. There was also a complimentary bottle of sparkling water each day in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was a help yourself to as much as you want and included gluten free cereal and bread options. We ate at the hotel in the evenings as well, the food is delicious and extremely good value for money. It’s a popular place to eat for locals as well as hotel guests, so you know the food is good! Be sure to try something from the Smoker and/or the Big Green Egg! It’s a great location for a walk or cycle ride along the river. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back again.
