Clean rooms, quiet, breakfast was great, staff is excellent. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Likely won’t stay here again

The building looks impressive and the idea of staying inside a monastery sounds unique. The room and beds are more reminiscent of a hostel than a hotel…I can’t remember the last time I slept on a bed that dips so badly with such rough, scratchy sheets. We stayed during the heat wave and even with both windows open, the room was unbearably hot with no draft, making sleep really difficult. The staff at breakfast was friendly and breakfast spread looks adequate. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to check out the spa area due to its hours (it’s only available from 2-10pm).

Excellent hotel for families and tranquility

Excellent for families, in the room I found 4 bags of sweets for children, 4 bottles of water all included. Large and clean room. Excellent dinner and excellent breakfast. Free parking. I brought the dog and they only charged me 6 euros per night.

Everything is right here

The hotel is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. I didn't try the wellness area.
The restaurant is excellent, you can eat really well there. Very good German and regional cuisine. Excellent wines. Since many guests kept ordering beer, I suspect that this was also very good.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Absolutely comfortable atmosphere. I have been here several times and am always completely satisfied. Restaurants like this used to be normal, but today they are more of an exception...

Great facility and guesthouse with good service, kitchen with clear room for improvement.

Ambience, location, house and everything around it, service, everything was great.
Parking spaces in front of the house and all around. A very nice and well-kept facility.
The lady in the service knows what she's doing and is friendly. Just the way I would like a "waitress" in a brewery.
Unfortunately the food wasn't that great. The roast beef was perfectly cooked and the onions were great. But there was something with a strange taste in the sauce or on the meat. Kubeken pepper? Definitely not right. I wouldn't have eaten it like that, but my wife thought it was edible. The spaetzle and Knöpfle were very good. The side salad that I ordered separately was OK.
I had beef goulash with napkin dumplings. That was inedible. 3 large, uncut lumps of meat (beef shank?), i.e. not trimmed or only roughly cut, consisted of 50% slimy fat. I cut that away. No questions asked when it was taken away, the waitress saw what was wrong. The napkin dumplings were very thin slices, fried and very dry. I know it differently. The sauce didn't taste bad at all, but it was a mess. The sour cream on offer was a blob in homeopathic doses. All in all, too little for 56 euros, there's still a lot of room for improvement. It's a shame, I had different expectations. I know it well.
