Weekend trip

As a welcome, there was a large cold bottle of water in the room. The room was clean and large, with a separate seating area for watching TV. We had room 45 in the attic. The hosts and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was sufficient and the rolls were fresh from the bakery. Fried or scrambled eggs were available on request.

Very friendly clean and worth staying at

This is our second stay and we love this hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean, we stayed in a triple room in the main building, the room is very big, toilet very clean, small kitchenette with oven , microwave, toaster , kettle and even an espresso machine. The staff are very friendly, they makes you feel that you retuned home. Breakfast is very tasty and full of variety.. I really recommend this hotel

Wonderful experience

We stayed in Landhaus Effeld for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. This is one of those rare country hotels where you still get that personal, cozy and homey feeling. Service is excellent. Rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast consists of a truly German buffet experience that will not disappoint you. Wireless internet access is included with your stay. There is also a bar downstairs that serves the best mushroom creme soup I have ever tasted and fresh German draft beer (which I miss so much). The bar is typical German style with large screen TV (you may get to watch some good soccer!) and friendly quick service. The price is right here!
We felt most comfortable at this hotel and we would certainly stay there again. Great value at an affordable price.
