Charming hotel close to the interior

Charming hotel. Friendly welcome, neat, simple and clean room. Very central near the market square.
Fish restaurant in the house with good dishes and equally nice service. Parking in the yard.

Great location between downtown and port

We had a family room with a normal double bed and a fold-out sofa bed. Nevertheless, we still had plenty of space in the room. The bed was very comfortable, the sofa bed went like this.
In the bathroom it was unfortunately only clean at first glance, on closer inspection we still found hair in the shower.
The breakfast buffet was not huge but everything you need was there. And everything was fresh and delicious.

Perfekt hotel in the hart of wismar

Very nice hotel in the hart of Wismar.
Parking at the hotel.
Nice restaurang with tables also outside.
Near to walking street and all the restaurangs also near to the harbor with a lot of sctivities. Fish and food from boats.

Herring in a delightfully old-fashioned hotel

Having just come from a very modern, very busy glass-and-mirrors inner city Berlin hotel, I was completely charmed by the quiet, old-fashioned Hotel Wismar. I spent a full week there, and felt very much at home in my cosy room with a dormer window in the roof. We were given a heavy key to the front door as well as to our rooms, and came and went without anyone monitoring us; no need for security, in Wismar, which must be one of the safest places in the world. The dining room and bar are wood-panelled, the staircase of carved wood, and the decor has a maritime theme consistent with the history of the trading city. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean, and there is wifi (which works, of course). The staff are kind and helpful and completely non-intrusive - it really feels as if one is at home. I enjoyed breakfast every morning with a variety of fresh fruit, in particular the cherries which were in season, and ate one evening meal in the restaurant, which specialises in local fish dishes, so I chose herring, of course, which was delicious.

Central Wisconsin/ South of the Boarder

Seated quickly provided with chips and sauce. Took and returned with order in very good time. Good very tasty and good. Lunch for my wife and my self cost just under $20.00. Very reasonable cost, food was very tasty anf not over seasoned.
