We were there with 13 people for hiking .........What can we say we were completely satisfied .........so much hospitality sharp you rarely experience in this day and age. Continue like this .........and we will definitely come back .Thank you again to all the defended ones who made sure we had a great time . greetings to MUTTI....

Very good hotel!

Unfortunately, no long journey this year due to corona, so we went by car to the Harz nature park for a short holiday. We stayed at Landhotel Kunzental in Zorge. Zorge itself is a quiet small village with little to do, but it is a great base for the various villages in the Harz nature park. We went out every day for several long hikes and enjoyed the surroundings.
The hotel is located in a wonderfully quiet area with plenty of parking spaces in front. We were received very friendly and after some explanation about the hotel we were escorted to our very spacious (renovated) room with balcony. Beds have good mattresses and the bathroom was functional (but not renovated).
The breakfast in the morning was very good and we took advantage of the packed lunch every day (for a fee). Then you get extra sandwiches, a piece of fruit and a snack to take with you. The service at breakfast was fine and very friendly.
In the evening, after a day of hiking, we went to eat in the hotel every day and although it is not a large menu, we were able to eat something different every day, varied well. And it was delicious every day!
We had an excellent time and will certainly recommend this great family hotel with very friendly staff!

“Welcome back home”

For the 4th year in a row we visited this lovely family owned hotel. As always we were treated like family from the moment we arrived. The meals were wholesome and fullfilling, the free wifi was a new plus, and the pool just next door was great on the hot days!
Once again a lovely experience to visit Landhotel Kunzental and its kind hosts and personal, and we give our highest recommendations for the extraordinary service that they continue to provide year after year. See you in 2019

Must visit

Loved the cake and coffee and our grandson enjoyed playing in the garden on the swings and watching the fish in the pond.
Very friendly lovely views i recommend a visit. We are definitely coming back again soon.

Great venue and caring service!

I've been here 3 years in a row, and every time I visit the family who owns and run the hotel have taken such good care of us. Each year they continue to deliver kind and caring service that always fits our current needs, and they serve great German food and a plentyfull breakfast buffet.
The hotel is located in the heart of Harzen, and is surrounded by gorgeus nature.
A strong and warm recommendation to this hotel, for taking such good care of us for several years.
