Outstanding service

After booking our room here through booking.com, we began an email conversation with the owners. They provided not only information on the lodgings, but also extensive informatioin on the Zwiesel area. Upon arrival, we got lost (mainly due to a poorly marked construction detour). Through the kindness of some grocery store employes who spoke almost no English, they called Zum Fliegenden Hollander and told them where we were, then the owner gave me directions in her very good English. She said that she would come and rescue me if the directions did not work. They did. Turns out that the grocery store is where Zum Fliegenden Hollander buys supplies.
On arrival, the owners were quite friendly and very helpful. The room was a bit European tiny, but it opened out to nice patio with a pretty view of the home dotted hills. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The price was certainly right.
The owner is a trained professional cook. Her dinners were outstanding. Hightly recommended. And try the local Zweisel beer: Dampfbier - it's really good. especially on that patio.
We did not have good directioins to our next destinations. The owner made sure we had them by contacting the owners in German. Wow!
Be sure to email the owners in advance fo receive good directions to the place, including getting around poorly marked detours. Else, you will never find it. It is in a residential neighborhood.

Zeer gastvrije B&B in mooie omgeving

Zeer gastvrije B&B, rustig gelegen in groene omgeving (oa vlakbij de Grose arber see), fijne kamer met eigen badkamer, lekker ontbijt met oa lokale specialiteiten, veel tips van de zeer behulpzame (Nederlandse) eigenaren.

super

super mooie omgeving, caroline en john helpen je overal bij op weg, en zelfs voor mij ( diabetes) menu aangepast. rust wandelen en genoeg sneeuw een leuk ski gebied, op korte afstand. wildpark en tjechie kort in de buurt en openbaar vervoer gratis!

Top Pension

HIer werden Sie wirklich gut bewirtet. Alles wird erklärt. Zimmer sind gut und sauber. Lage sehr ruhig, direkt an den Wanderwegen. Kann alles nur empfehlen. Der Wirt hat mich zur Langlaufloipe gefahren. Echt guter Service. Freundlicher Empfang.
