Noisy but nice

A gorgeous looking hotel at first sight. Lovely staff especially Jeanette and Lorraine at the bar. Nice pool. Good breakfasts. Downsides are £3 per day for room local tax and £ 9 per day air con (which you do need). If you are a light sleeper, get ear plugs as, since breakfasts start at 8.00am you will be woken by the constant door banging (and I use the word banging purposefully). There is no sound deafening as I could hear someone across the hall snoring at night. You might also hear people moving around in rooms above. Cleaners start early morning and the clattering of buckets in the hallway can be noisy. All in all though, I did like the hotel !

Had a ball great holiday!

Wonderful stay at this family run hotel. Room was spotless clean white laundered towels and bedding changed regularly. Breakfast was lovely with virtually everything home made. Lovely friendly staff special mention for Jeanette great barmaid. Not far to walk into town and lots of lovely restaurants to choose from . A great stay in this hotel and I would highly recommend.

Gem of a hotel!

We booked this hotel as we prefer to get out and about while on holiday, rather than spending money on hotel facilities we won't use. This place was the perfect choice. The room, whilst a little small, was extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. It had a very new bathroom with an excellent shower. Comfortable bed and ample storage for our 10 day stay. The pool area is nice and was never crowded, the bar is great. Breakfast is more than ample, a lovely choice of home made cakes and jams, bread, greek yogurt, fruit and some hot and cold meats. The housekeeping staff are fantastic. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard.
The hotel is situated around 1.5km from the lake and the centre of Agios Nikolaus but it is a nice, straight forward walk. There are a number of good restaurants within a short stroll and an abundance in the centre.
Bus stops in both directions are nearby if you want to get out and about, reception staff were very helpful with information.
We used the Amoudi Beach Club just down the road on a couple of occasions, the beach and watersports there are very good. However we prefered Kimzu Sea Lounge (which is a fair bit further on) as you get far more space around your loungers to move around, better quality food and drinks although Amoudi offerings were perfectly acceptable.
Lato attracts quite a number of repeat visitors which I can completely understand. It is a friendly place - if I were travelling alone I would definitely feel safe here.
For a budget option it is a great choice and we would happily return.

Relaxing little hotel

Lovely hotel just a short walk to promanade and beach, then 15 minute walk into town. The hotel is very clean and all the staff friendly. Have stayed here many times before but had not been for 7 years. Felt right at home as soon as we got to hotel the welcome we got. George George and Van still as helpful with whatever you need. Lovely Jeanette is still doing lovely food at lunchtime and keeps the conversation flowing around the bar of an evening. Good selection of tastey food on offer at breakfast served with a smile by staff.
