A small family run hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Location was perfect for the wedding we were attending and easy to get into central Athens and do the sightseeing. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Some rooms are not renovated. But the pictures only show the new rooms. They are given out randomly

Very good hotel by the south coast of Athens in Voula upscale neighborhood and next to trendy Glyfada. Great location across the street from the tramway final station and the beach 30 minutes from the airport with a taxi. Friendly staff, great service, home atmosphere. Nice and affordable hotel away from the crowds of Athens in à very safe neighborhood.

Disappointing experience

I recently stayed in the hotel (September 2025) Hoping for a good experience after finding the hotel was newly renovated. As soon as we arrived in the hotel, we found our room to be extremely old and lots of rusted items in the room (bed, bath, tiles, sink, ect..). Not only this, but the spaces are very small and have minimal room to store common things when travelling such as a suitcase. After looking at photos of the place expecting a modern stay, it’s safe to say I was very disappointed and would recommend you not stay here.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us. We are truly sorry that your plans changed due to the unexpected cancellation of the event you were travelling for — we understand how disappointing that must have been.
Regarding your request for a refund, we would like to clarify that your reservation was made under a non-refundable rate, which offers a discounted price in exchange for the risk that travel plans may change. This policy applies to all guests equally and is clearly stated during the booking process. Although we always do our best to assist whenever possible, in this case we were unable to override the terms of the selected rate.
We are nevertheless sorry for the inconvenience this caused and hope for the opportunity to welcome you in the future under better circumstances. If your travels bring you back to Athens or Glyfada, our team will be happy to assist you with a flexible rate option to ensure greater peace of mind.
Warm regards,
The Minavra Team

Breakfast is very good and price is reasonable. The staff and cleaning crew are very friendly. Only improvement is to vacuum the floor of quest rooms on daily bases.
