Nice stay
We had a nice stay at Kritzas beach hotel. The staff is really friendly and always ready to help.
Our room was viewing the pool area what was really nice and the room was clean and neat.
We had breakfast every morning in the restaurant were they serve you a typical simple breakfast like eggs, ham , cheese, coffee, tea and bread and some days there was watermelon.
The rooms get cleaned almost everyday but honestly it seems like they are just folding clothes and sweeping the floor.
And there weren’t much kitchen supplies what made it hard to flip the egg:)
But besides that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel!

Highly recommend against staying here
My boyfriend and I spent a week at the Kritzas Beach Apartments and I highly recommend AGAINST spending your money there. I heard this apartment complex is owned by different families together, and I believe some of those family members actually work there. We arrived at 10 o’clock in the evening, and this old gentlemen who was at the reception (in his 70ies) did not even say hello to us, started off by giving us our bracelets and we just immediately felt unwelcome. There was also this other man who works for the apartments, and he mostly stayed at the restaurant area during our entire stay. He's Greek, bald and slightly overweight, who goes by name of "Mister Kostas"; he is the rudest person I ever came across while travelling. He picked up a fight with my boyfriend over Fanta, was laughing at the guests, answering people in a very aggressive manner, always ready to pick up a fight with people, and he behaved like he just hates people. Overall very bad vibes at this place. We made the mistake of ordering half-pension, but the food was not good. The breakfast was honestly terrible, cold eggs, cheap cereal, dry bread, the meat was dry and not cooked properly, only 4 dishes available on the menu every night. Do not order half-pension or not even pay for the breakfast because it’s not worth it. The only friendly person was the gentlemen who was looking after the pool area with dark hair. Me & my Boyfriend were on our first travel away together so we didn't want to make it a negative experience. Otherwise we would have left this place on the first night, called Corendon and asked to stay somewhere else. The apartments are also located on the way to the airport so if you're a light sleeper you'll hear the planes all night long. The actual apartments are good for the money you pay & well equipped but old. Flushing didn't work, doors wouldn't close properly and the wifi is VERY slow. We’re a young couple and we’re both very chilled not looking for luxury whatsoever, the staff alone ruined the experience in the apartments. Luckily we spend most of the days away, we were back for the food because we had already paid for everything. We felt very bad vibes and negative energy from the staff members, really not worth it. Do not spend your money at this location, stay somewhere else and enjoy your holidays. ALSO do not rent your car with them they will overcharge you incredibly, the entire island is basically an entire car rental service, you're able to find reliable, affordable car rental somewhere else.

Couple week away
We stayed at the beach apartments for 1 week and could not fault the accommodation at all. Clean, spacious, great pool/garden area and all kitchen equipment is there! B&b is good. Bread ham and cheese, cakes, eggs and tea and coffee all brought to your table! A little shop on site for basics. All owners are very friendly! Area around apartments is quite. 15 minute walk to the main beach and restaurants. Went in October so a lot had closed up for the season but everywhere we went served lovely very reasonable priced food!

Very friendly
As two young adults we stayed at Kritzas beach bungalows in the July for 7 nights. We were bed and breakfast so I can't comment on the evening food. The apartments were clean and were equipped with everything you would need for going self catered. Although in a nice and quiet location most of the time the hotel is located in the flight path and as being 17km from the airport although at night this wasn't a problem. As the hotel was off the beaten track a car was required. There is a min market on site where you can grab a few bottles of water and snacks. Being a family run hotel staff were very friendly and spoke to you in the morning and the evening. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore and prefer to go self catering.

Worst hotel ever
Previously we stayed in 2* and 3* hotels and never ever experienced that desperation and disappointment before.
1. During check-in we were not informed that air condition cost 7€ per day. Taking into account that ambient temperature was 37-40 degrees above zero, this fact becomes very disappointing. As far as I know some other 4* hotels use anti-insects systems, but Kritzas doesn't. One has either to pay 7€ for AC or get bitten by mosquitoes.
2. Food. For breakfast you can have either omelette or boiled eggs or porridge. The waiter will serve the guys who came later than you first. He will also forget what you've ordered and come to you in a minute to make sure you want porridge or boiled eggs. Most of the excursions start at 9 a.m. Your breakfast at Kritzas will start at 08:50 if you are lucky.
3. Kritzas presents itself as family-and-child-friendly hotel. Please see pictures of the playground attached. They are more expressive than words! No comments.
4. Our 1-year kid got sick in the end of our stay there. We asked to prolong staying at the hotel for at least 2-3 hours. We were ready to pay for it... Our request was refused. We were told that there were no spare rooms. We had to wait for our transfer to the airport at reception. As far as I could see the new guests occupied our ex-bungalow at 08.00 pm... Why did they refuse to help us? It was very disappointing
5. If you want tuna salad you can't order other meals. That's the rule. The only thing in the menu that was decent were grilled shrimps. 5 King size shrimps. At the 6th day of our stay we were informed that they had "finished". The next day the waiter accepted my order (shrimps) but I never got it. When I asked about it I was told "sorry, they are finished". Yes, this dish was on the menu but you couldn't order it.
I understand they suffer crisis and try to save costs... Anyway we are disappointed, staying at Kritzas hotel turned our vacation into a nightmare.
I give 1 point only to the cleaning ladies. They were perfect.
