Hotel with a sea view!!!
We spent our summer holiday at this nice hotel in Ierissos.
We have great experience with the owner, Χρηστος, since we stayed at his apartments last year.
Hotel is ideally positioned, near the sea (beach), coffee shops, restaurans, etc. If you ask for a room with a see view - you will get one (from my own experience).
Our room had a nice balcony so we could enjoy drinking coffee there in the morning (it's a real pleasure!).
Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. If you have any problem with the room, staff will certainly help you. Even the owner himself, since he spends a lot of time at the hotel.
I would recommend the place primarily for bed & breakfast package. There is a bakery nearby and also restaurants, so you can have your meals out of the hotel, if you want.
Another great thing is that there is some kind of parking in front of the hotel (it is quite big), so you don't have to worry where is your car - you will be able to see it from the room.
We have already recommended this place to our friends and family and we would certainly get back here!

Bed accomodation
Very bad experience. The owner is uncultured, the staff is unhelpful.There are no things in the room, such as a bucket, a broom, a basin.The air conditioners drip, gurgle over the table on the terrace, they are old and the furniture is old, all broken.Worth the money, this is not a hotel, it is an overnight stay

Expected more, at first look good, but underneath poor
I get this feeling that only people from Serbia gave this hotel good rating. I can't tell why but these are my impressions from this holiday.
At first look I thought that this hotel is very nice (looking at their website), but when we came to the place the true picture was different. You can see my pictures that I took. I don't want to afraid you but you can also expect some of that happened to me. I must say that they are cleaning rooms every day (but we had to clean after them , because they are not changing the water often enough and they leave a lot of hairs on the floor...), changing the towels 2 days and sheets 3 days. Only good thing that I can find that this hotel is very close to the city beach (it has blue flag) and it has a big parking place in front of the hotel (it's not concrete or asphalt). I think that the owner should consider viewing the rooms and state of them, how they are and sure to invest enough to be more attractive to the tourists. (in spite of that the owner says that he is full for whole year).
Don't know what to say more for the people considering to go to this hotel. It's not so good for the money that you have to pay.

No thanks
Only good thing is place. Food is terrible. For breakfast you have every they the same. Worst hame, Only cooked eggs, milk with 0% fat, what Kids love it (ha ha). Rooms are ok but net for moscitos are in terrible condition. For dinner you have two Worst meals. For example, lazanja with 25 grams of meat and with 100 gr of sometning else. I forgot, in 10 days we dind't have fresh bread....Just don't go there

Lovely hotel, great staff!
Alkionis Hotel is situated just a few steps from the beach. You just have to cross a narrow street and a parking lot, both are in front of a hotel, and you are at the beach. The beach is very clean and the sea is amazing (see the photos). The hotel has double-bed and family rooms- some have kitchenette and some don't (you can ask for a specific room- if you need a kitchenette just ask for that sort of room).
The towels and the sheets are changed regularly- in 2-3 days, and the room is cleaned on a daily basis.
You can also choose whether you want NA, BB or HB. We had HB- buffet breakfast and the dinner is (lets say) half-buffet because except for the main course which you choose the evening before, everything else (soup, salad, deserts, fruit) is buffet.
The people working at the hotel are very nice people. The owner, Hristos, is always there to help you. And the young lady, Maria (hEllOOO), who works at the restaurant at dinner, is really amazing. Positive, always with a smile on her face and very helpful.
Ierissos is a quiet, small place (but the biggest one at Atos peninsula), ideal for families, but we- as a couple, had great time because there are several amazing beaches in the near surrounding that we also visited.
There's also Aristotel's Park just a few km from Ierissos, and Kakovo Monastery- lets say, the 'branch' of world famous Hilandar Monastery (while Hilandar can only be visited by men, Kakovo is open to everybody). And, last but not the least- Amouliani Island, 2km to Tripiti where you take the ferry (15min journey)-- meaning that Ierissos is a perfect place as a start point to visit the surrounding.
