Great time here would highly recomm and will be returning again soon

Perfect location minutes from the Strip and old town. Staff so friendly and helpful, Maria and Petros. Rooms were, clean and bright. 2 pools and 2 bars depending what you liked quite and relaxing or lively . Also home cooked food, English Breakfast fantastic, food and drink and choice of cocktails,good value.

Great place for all types of guest

Booked via tui a last minute break. Read the reviews after!! Did slightly panic thinking I'd be the oldest guest there. Had a fantastic time, great location near to everything , the malia strip, and old town. Maria and Petros make the Eltina special, they are so welcoming and friendly. Maria a beautiful soul ❤️ will definitely return at a later date. Rooms immaculate. Didn't need a/c as rooms were comfortable temp. Great selection of food and drinks available ...fell in love with Crete a little bit more!!

Excellent value for money.

Clean apartment, comfortable, with daily changes of sheets and towels; nothing was lacking. Free Wi-Fi in the pool was functioning excellently. Kindness, care, friendliness, and availability of the owners, Maria with her son and their family, who provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and more. Possibility to enjoy snacks, quick lunches, or appetizers by the pool at reasonable prices. Good location for visiting the eastern part of Crete or the southeastern part, about 1.5 hours away by road. Excellent value for money.

Extras and breakfast

had 3 weeks there end of season so quiet , what I wanted, a pretty colourful place, good cleaners and bar staff but lots of extras, tourist tax, wifi {PER DEVICE) if you need it, aircon and safe, how they can still charge for an old metal box is pure greed, the biggest surprise was the smallest breakfast I have had anywhere in the world, I should have booked room only and checked if to add it ,dont waste your money when booking, plenty of nearby good value places or buy one from bar menu

Value for money

A nice place, good, clean, budget hotel, but all the 5* reviews, not in my book.
I was OK as I knew you had to pay for extras-internet, 10 €/week is OK, other charges -AC, safe, late check out, etc. be forewarned, but not alarmed
But slow internet, basic rooms, no duvet, only sheet, b&b= boring breakfast, so not the glow other reviewers saw
But, 250m to large supermarket, nearby Eurobank ATM only charges €1.80 compared to Euro ATM rip off €5.95, close to old town, close to beach, restaurants (10 min, exit rear of hotel) friendly staff, so on balance, lotsa plus.
I would stay again, but ignore the rose tinted glasses other reviewers wore, just enjoy the positives.

Dinner – Mezes – exit rear hotel, reach main road, turn right 150m- excellent Greek food – Kleftiko, Moussaka, Raki
Lunch– Magrio-head East, 150m past Malia church, on right-home cooked Greek food – meatballs/potato-superb-lunch only
