Haviz Hungary. Lake Haviz. This Hotel located on the hill - 3 blocks from flat lavel/streets on the way to the Lake Heviz. Family owner. Personal is very nice and helpful. Good breakfasts. They have a pool. Ask to hit it.
Fully equipped kitchen. Very nice and quiet. Ask for bathrobe, towels and tubs for pool /Lake. Thank you Silvia.

Very nice place, 6 min walking from lake . Huge appartment consist of 2 rooms. Breakfest with shampaine!

Clean, friendly place close to the city centre

We were pleased with the room. It was nice and clean, even had a fridge. Strange, but the restroom had no sink for washing hand. The breakfast was plenty and tasty. They made fresh scrambled eggs by request. We missed some espresso fro our wake-up course, but the long coffee had the caffeine too. We loved the mattresses - nice firm bed!
The staff is friendly, the swimming pool is a gem.
Overall very good place to spend a few nights.

Mattress or wooden board

We never had Mattresses as hard as these. Waking up with hip and backaches was no fun.The towel are as hard as sandpaper.The rooms and bathroom are very dated left over from the 60th..The location is perfect and so is the indoor pool.
If you still like to stay in this Hotel DO NOT BOOK WITH THE HOTEL DIRECTLY since it will you cost a lot more.

Towels or sandpaper?

From the outside, Hotel Agnes is adorable - very Alpine and Heidi. The receptionist only spoke Hungarian or German, and a bit of French. She showed us photos of breakfast choices and we had to choose the one we wanted. There is a small buffet of breads to go along with the egg or crepe choices.
The rooms are from another century (which is probably when the balcony was last swept). The bathroom is divided, with the toilet on one side of the small entrance hall and the sink & shower on the other side. I haven't seen a shower with a rubber hose for many, many years. The towels are either sandpaper or perhaps something for exfoliating! The hotel advertises a "salt cave", which turned out to be a small room with two plastic deck chairs and a bunch of salt bricks piled up on the sides.
The double bed was in fact two singles pushed together but there was only one sheet, which did not fit over both sides. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable.
We enjoyed the absurdity of it all, but as it did not come cheap, (€162.50 for a double and a single), perhaps the joke was on us!
