Beautiful yoga spot with amazing teacher

This stunning place looks over the rice paddies with the boulders as back drop. Paul does beginners classes as well as vinyasa flow, bringing in meditation and his spiritual teachings in a really wonderful way. We weren’t staying at Sunny but stumbled upon the yoga and so glad we did!

If you are lucky you will have a good time.

Things that did not work for me
There was a power issue and there generator is small. AC was not working. Room does not have any windows. Had to spend all night in suffocation. It was 39 degree and this single incident destroyed my whole trip. If you are booking this place you should pray that there is no power outage.
I believe that in hospitslity sector this issue should have been taken care of before hand.

Mixed Review : Good to enjoy a 24hours but sometime its risky .. Owner is Gentleman

Owner is really helping and supporting … I appreciate his help.
Suggestion : Don't do online booking reach directly and try your luck as well as analyse possible risk of any river overflow
Okay here is small story about our stay which include our vehicle as well. …
We reach on 20th Oct for 2 night stay as it is non negotiable and cancelable booking. Due to Diwali season I already paid 3time more than what it charge other wise for room.
We reach location so beautiful and relaxing we were happy that next 24hours will be relaxing. Huts are small enough to just fit 2 person. accommodating extra bed is challenge (my daughter was with me as well but due to less crowed owner offer me another hut) but it was clean. Area and surrounding is really beautiful since its Island its in middle of Tungbhadra River (i.e. the Risk) because due to heavy rain at same night from Dam water release due to which motorable road was closed (because of heavy flow). and we then decided to leave hotel without our car. Hotel is on height so no direct impact to Car. We left hotel (we cross river in Coracle) and stayed in Hampi and after 3 days once water level went down we took car out from Island.
1. This possibility should have intimated in advance for those who are coming by own vehicle. Alternate arrangement has to be there
2. Owner was really co-operative in all this time … i.e. best part I will say. He was equally concern and worried as we for our plan.
3. Price should be negotiable in all such scenario and cost is bit high. I will suggest going there any doing booking can be more helpful to get better deal...
little bit about food we had dinner and breakfast ..
food is no doubt testy but all international cuisine. but service was way slow thou very few guest (this is handle by someone else outsource he definitely need to improve service)
About Island really beautiful you can walk or cycle and go around island for day, relax, take spa or yoga or massage …
meet lot of foreigners .. Israel population is more than Indian :)

Good rooms and fantastic view in front of rooms it's a paddy field view really enjoyed a lot and good communication from staff and I feel like a home when I stayed in this place and chill out place also thoroughly enjoyed in this place with my friends nice Garden nice trees and very very peaceful place

Cockroaches

After so many mixed reviews on the homestays/ hostels on Hippy Island we decided to wander around and check them out for ourselves (staying the first night over the temple side) before booking here. We are SOOO glad we did, we came to look here first as it was our top choice from online research.
The guy was willing enough to show us a room but hardly looked up from his phone, it was almost as if we had interuped him watching whatever he was.... He didn't want us there.
We saw the room, the bed could have been big enough for us 3 young backpackers but the room was small. The bathroom DIM and DUSTY looking.
We lifted the MATTRESS only to find a big COCKROACHES crawling around and numerous other smaller BUGS....
We left.
