Pictures didn't match the on location rooms.
Decent location but the basic room is a little substandard with a weird dishwashing wash basin in the bed room.
The bathroom also doesn't have a privacy near the window. Had to request for room freshners as they don't provide by default.
Johnson at the property is welcoming. Vishvam the incharge isn't very approachable and difficult to get in touch with and not cooperative. Would overall not recommend.

Mixed feelings
We supposedly booked a superior queen room, but I would not call it superior, by any means. Here is what we were supposed to have:
"Private bathroom • Terrace • Lake view • Garden view • Free toiletries • Bathrobe • Air conditioning • Kitchen • Bidet • Toilet • Bath or shower • Towels • Linen • Cleaning products • Desk • Seating Area • Soundproofing • TV • Refrigerator • Ironing facilities • Tea/Coffee maker • Microwave • Heating • Flat-screen TV • Kitchenware • Kitchenette • Fan • Towels/sheets (extra fee) • Electric kettle • Wardrobe or closet • Dining area • Dining table • Clothes rack • Drying rack for clothing • Toilet paper • Hand sanitiser"
we don't recall bathrobes, or clothes racks in the room or a tea coffee maker. We also do to recall a wardrobe or a closet. The lake view and the compound provided a calming external ambiance to the property.
The foyer of the main building was so well appointed with Hindu artifacts that one got the feeling that one was entering a Hindu shrine.. The broad skylight was a nice touch there. The ambiance in the foyer gave the impression that we were entering a five star hotel, but then did nor quite deliver the rest, and not unexpectedly so, for the prices charged.
Breakfast was OK and they paid attention to individual needs ( Black coffee, tea without sugar) ,more toast, etc... It would have been nice if they served some fruit with every breakfast however, but were not consistent.in this area.
The owner was very affable and helpful ,as was his cousin brother who went out on his motorbike to get us some beer when most of the liquor shops were closed. Much appreciated!
My biggest beef was the demand for cash when our contract clearly states that they accept a variety of credit cards.
"This property accepts the following forms of payment: American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, Discover, UnionPay debit card, UnionPay credit card"
and we have removed a couple of stars for that and for providing expectations for our room based on their booking.com description that did not deliver as we imagined.
Reasonable value for money, but the marketing on booking.com is deceiving. He took our picture in the foyer and it appears he might use in further marketing his property. We prefer that he not do so.
In the end, we were not quite as happy as we might have appeared in the pic. It was a definite come down from what we anticipated, but not for the price charged.
Would we come back again? . To the budget room? Not a chance. To the higher priced rooms, possibly if they were more honest about their demand for cash upfront.
You may not be disappointed with your stay here, but not quite elated either.
A nice touch was the the glass of homemade wine they offered us on arrival. We did order a bottle for Rs 300 and they delivered on that account.
