A confortable stay in Ferrara

Looks less safe than it really is..so do not worry from the first impression.Really nice hotel, average breakfast, very polite staff

Radisson Hotel Ferrara

Hotel exterior not pleasant due to the presence of unsavory people (in my opinion). Very convenient for those arriving by train. Excellent reception staff. Bathroom lacks a bidet and has an open shower (the whole bathroom floods). Breakfast pastry section not up to 4-star standards: apple cake, tart, and muffins were forgettable. The “torta tenerina,” a Ferrarese specialty, is only on display as a photo in the breakfast room. I ask the staff, first thing in the morning: it should be arriving. I add: upon my complaint, first thing in the morning, with the breakfast room still open (to check if the cake was present and it was not present), a guy in the breakfast room apologizes, stating that his colleague had made a mistake. Later I found the legendary cake and an apology note at the reception in my room. Second morning: I ask the same girl from the previous morning and she tells me it is finished; I gave up on making further complaints because I had to catch a train.

A great Negroni at the bar

My husband had stayed here for work in the area on several occasions, so returned together for a trip on his recommendation. Overall experience was great, lovely staff, super clean rooms, grateful for the air conditioning and location to station during very hot weather when returned from day trips. Lovely stroll into town (about 10-15mins) listening to the cicadas. The best Negroni made at the bar

MED isn't bad

Location is ok, classic 4* hotel's.
What is remarkable is the restaurant, it's menu and food and mostly the service. Selma and Alessandro were both professional and exquisite hosts. They even offered some advice for our tour.
A place to be back.
