August stay

We had a lovely stay at EOS Hotel Lecce and would happily recommend it. The hotel is within a short walking distance of the beautiful old town, making it a really convenient base for exploring Lecce.
The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning, and the hotel also had good Wi-Fi. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast was a real highlight, with a great selection of meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries and a selection of breads. There were also coffee jugs for Americano, as well as freshly made coffees such as cappuccinos and espressos available separately. My personal favourite was the pasticciotto — delicious custard encased in short pastry and definitely something to try while in Lecce!
The rooftop terrace was lovely and the perfect place to relax with a drink after a day of exploring. The bar prices were also fantastic, with an Aperol Spritz costing just €7, compared with the £12 or so I would expect to pay at home. It made enjoying a drink on the rooftop even better!
Overall, EOS Hotel Lecce offered us a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with a great location, lovely facilities, excellent breakfast and incredibly kind staff. The combination of the rooftop terrace, reasonably priced drinks and easy walk into the old town made it a great choice for our visit. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfort and tranquility

Here is a more fluid and suitable version for TripAdvisor:
We chose this hotel because it is located about 20 minutes walk from the historic center, allowing a quieter stay, and it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. For us, the walk to the center is easy and ends up being a good opportunity to appreciate the city.
The location was also an advantage for those travelling by car, facilitating the parking and access to the different beaches of the region, which was another of our goals during our stay.
We stayed three nights, occupying two bedrooms. The cleanliness, comfort and breakfast were within expectations, and we would also like to emphasize the sympathy and availability of the entire team.
Overall, it was a very positive experience and we consider that the hotel offers an excellent value for money.

Not a good experience

Situated a good 15 min walk from the centre of this beautiful baroque city makes this hotel not central and not worthy of recommendation. The best thing was breakfast with pastries and beautiful cakes, plus meat and cheese but the tables were bar so you had to get up and down off these to get breakfast. Not ideal.
The room we had was inward facing but you couldn't see out due to the covering on the windows, giving the room a claustrophobic feel. I was glad we only stayed one night.
We asked for a taxi to take us to the airport the next morning, which was ordered by the receptionist. The taxi that came was terrible. No AC, the inside was dirty and the seats sticky. The driver was over 15 mins late and stopped on the way to get petrol. We were told they would take credit card payment but he wouldn't, only cash and we had to find a machine at the airport to get some money a lot of running around. Not a good end to our visit to Puglia.

Location: The hotel is located just 1.2 km from the historic center, making it one of the most central options in Lecce outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), which provides easier access for travelers with vehicles.
Breakfast Room: Our breakfast tables are standard height. As is customary with hotel buffets, guests walk to the station to serve themselves. Additionally, we are proud to offer a premium express cafeteria service delivered directly to your table.
Room Design: The window glass is intentionally opaque to ensure maximum privacy and optimal rest. The inward-facing room was specifically assigned to fulfill your request for our quietest available accommodation.
Regarding the taxi service, we offer our deepest apologies. This unacceptable behavior does not reflect our standards, and we have immediately removed this company from our suggested partners.
We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a flawless experience in the future.
