Excellent B&B

From the moment after booking, Mrs. Valentina and Mrs. Pina were very communicative and very kind in giving us all the directions to reach the property and check in/out. The rooms are located inside a beautiful period noble palace, in the upper part of the city, with free public parking just a few meters away. Our room was large and comfortable. At guests' disposal a pleasant garden and a kitchen with adjoining breakfast room, where, in addition to various packaged products, there were homemade cakes made by Mrs. Valentina's mother. I don't give full marks just because the structure still has untapped potential. Unfortunately we were only passing through in the direction of Sicily, but we will take it into consideration for future trips to the area and to visit the charterhouse. Pets Allowed. Excellent value for money. Advised!!!

Racism and terrible experience

One of the waiters made a scene in front of all the people putting us in a bad image. I was embarrassed on my own money and then asked us where are we from, like this is relevant.
I would not wish this to my worst enemy.

Very charming

The Casa di Nonna is surprisingly charming inside, as the front just looks like a very plain house. Unfortunately we had some difficulty communicating with our hostess and didn't discover that she did speak French (as well as Italian) until we were leaving. We had a nice, spacious room with a beautiful new bathroom, and the living/dining room area where we had breakfast was very pretty - and all much more charming than you would expect from the outside. There was an interior courtyard with flowers and plants as well.

Warm and nice ...seems to be in another century...

I booked 2 rooms here for my boyfriend and his family as I lived in Padula before and I was going with them to visit my old town. The rooms were big and very clean, our stay was as comfortable as in a grandmother's house, as the name "A casa di nonna" means. Valentina (the owner) and her kindness made us feel warmly welcome.But the thing that have impressed us the most, was the wonderful garden. Sitting outside the rooms for breakfast was like being in another time...
We will surely go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what a place!!!

i never thought that i would have such a great experience in a b&b. i travel a lot for business and have seen quite some places, but the hospitality and quality of everything i experience in "A CASA DI NONNA" was one of the best. for sure that's because of the marvelous valentina who made our stay something special!!! thanks a lot again and hope to see you soon again!!!
