A surprisingly positive discovery in Riolunato!

The hotel is very nice is renovated inside. Well heated with indoor restaurant and sauna accessible all day. They welcome even medium-sized animals. We spent Christmas here for the second time and it was like spending it at home with the family. Francesco with his partner Roberta are very kind, welcoming and attentive to guests. The restaurant offers good quality products. Ham, cheese are fresh and meat and mushrooms are definitely their strong suit. Not to mention the huge selection of excellent quality wines.
For breakfast there is a roundup of homemade desserts and a very rich buffet from sweet to savory with options for celiacs and everything is stocked to ensure availability at all breakfast times.
They are very helpful in providing logistical information about places to visit in the area and more.
After dinner or to spend the evening there is always Francis who welcomes you with a big smile and good walnut.
Super recommended!

We trusted the reviews

The room faced the street, and with the heat, you could hear the cars and the people chatting (rightfully so) until late. Retro room, not clean, with ultra-soft mattresses. Breakfast with industrial pastries, taken out of the fridge and put on the buffet; dinner on half-board, no comment.

Nice and great food

We stayed the Valentine's weekend with children and other couples of friends, spacious rooms perhaps too hot, we enjoyed the half board service, I would say great and quality, every time is a confirmation. The staff was nice and friendly. We will return

Total disappointment.

Given the great reviews we went "almost on the safe side" but, the reality was very different. The room although large was dirty and not at all cared for. Towels lysis by time and carpet stained in various places. Nightmarish dinner with cold “scarrellate” dishes without any criteria and attention to the customer. Children forced to dine after 20:30 and a room dedicated to them practically a pile of rubble. Breakfast even worse: no trace of cakes made by Emilian grandmothers but only industrial products with a savory choice practically non-existent and no bread except in a box. Too bad because you can breathe the air of a nice place but, either you get serious or it is better to go straight!

Great experience, to repeat

I stayed at this hotel with several friends and our dogs in tow for a week of DogDance training. We had a great time, Francesco.e Roberta were super nice, they made available the games room to be able to train and leave our equipment. The food is great, wide choice of dishes for all tastes, including vegetarians, vegans and various allergy sufferers of which the group is composed (not easy to manage!). The atmosphere is familiar and immediately you feel at home and welcome. A place to definitely come back
