⚠️⚠️ Attention: this hotel is addictive! ⚠️⚠️
When you arrive at Hotel Lo Sciatore you don't enter the classic, slightly sterile hotel, but a place where, from the very first moment, you breathe the air of home.
We returned for the second consecutive year because the first experience wasn't enough for us. And, just like last year, we felt like part of a big family.
Mrs. Rosalba is constantly worried that no one has an empty stomach or looks too thin. I can confirm that the mission was accomplished... even my beard has increased in volume (not in length, unfortunately!).
The chef also has a hand in all this, along with the entire kitchen brigade and the dining room staff. Maybe you arrive at the table thinking: "Today I'll eat light...". Then you smell the aroma of the dishes and tell yourself: "What are you doing, are you going to leave it there?". And so it ends up that you would even eat the plate... and almost the table too!
The day starts with a spectacular breakfast: sweet, savory, homemade cakes, cold cuts, cheeses... you're spoiled for choice. It's almost useless to talk about lunch and dinner: every course is a pleasant surprise.
And just when you think it's over, as soon as you arrive they welcome you with a fantastic welcome platter. It is precisely at that moment that you realize you are truly a guest and not just a customer. Exceptional cold cuts and cheeses.
The organized activities, designed for both adults and children, deserve a chapter of their own. A special mention goes to Guglielmo, who manages to turn a simple excursion into an experience to remember.
The night outing in the woods to discover birds of prey was simply thrilling. If you are lucky, and above all capable of remaining in absolute silence, you will be able to hear their call and perhaps even see them.
Equally intense is the forest bathing experience. Guglielmo will accompany you with passion and expertise on a journey that will make you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature. There is only one piece of advice: participate on tiptoes, let yourself be guided, and enjoy every moment.
And then there's them: the fantastic entertainment team. Laura, Alessandro, Francesca, Nicolas, and Irene naturally manage to put everyone at ease, involving you in games and activities without ever being intrusive. If you let yourself get carried away, fun is guaranteed.
But in this hotel, the watchword always remains one: eating... in company!
The high-altitude picnic is unforgettable: bruschetta, lasagna, sausage, grilled meat, good wine for those who enjoy it, fresh watermelon, coffee, and amaro. A moment of pure conviviality.
And to conclude... the magical Pizza under the Stars. I don't want to reveal too much because it must be experienced. I can only say that, once the evening is over, the first temptation is to go to the reception and ask: "Excuse me... can we extend our stay?"

A beautiful confirmation
We finally managed to return to this hotel after a good 24 years and we found the same welcome and friendliness as back then!
The hotel has been entirely and elegantly renovated, and recently it has also been equipped with an elevator.
The cuisine confirms itself as one of the strong points: food with excellent quality raw materials and very well cooked. We were never able to leave anything on the plate even though we promised ourselves to eat light, in fact, often and willingly
we asked for seconds, so much for our waistlines!
All the staff (kitchen, dining room, reception, room cleaning) are characterized by a kindness and professionalism that is not so easy to find around, with a special thanks to Rino and Teresa.
A separate mention goes to the entertainment staff - Laura, Alessandro, Francesca, Mattia and Irene - who with their friendliness, their great commitment and enthusiasm made the stay truly fun.
The excursions were just as exciting, particularly intense were the forest bathing and the night outing in the woods to try to see the tawny owls, but above all to savor the silence and peace that nature can offer under a starry sky.

A new experience for me
Super, super, perfect organization, wonderful entertainers, owners always available, a beautiful vacation, perfect cleanliness, even when they had the picnic they were helpful in going up the mountain.
Only one thing, I could not participate in the beautiful excursions they organized, not because of them but because my physical condition did not allow it, a fairytale week. But the most beautiful thing was the peace and tranquility in a beautiful environment.
God willing, see you next year.

Skying Holiday with young children
I was not looking forward to skying. However, it turned out to be one of the best holidays ever. The hotel is 3 star and is good. However, everything else is excellent. The food is wonderfull, the service is exeptional, and the staff are marvelous. I also had 2 incredibly good local wines, a rose' and a red. It is positioned about 100 meters from the entrace to the slopes and could not be more convenient. I would recoment this hotel to everyone and in particular families. We are already looking forward to going back. Marco

Old hotel and small rooms
The hotel is really old, the toilette and the room small! The breakfast is ok, after the first night we decide to go to "La Pinetina" near by, which was definetely better.
They say there is the spa, Unfortunately in another hotel, so you would need to walk to go there outside, for us was not spa anymore.
The personal of the hotel is nice, for the rest I would never go back there.
