Stunning Hotel, Amazing Service

Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely return and highly recommend. The hotel is spotless, and I am a bit of a clean freak, this is testament to the staff who clearly work incredibly hard. They were all sooo amazing, very friendly, professional, polite and couldn’t do enough to help. The aircon is the best I have ever experienced, we had to turn it down!! Only 1 comment is that there needs to be a mirror in the bedroom rather than only in the bathroom so the ladies can do their hair/makeup while their other half is in the bathroom (very small problem easily resolved by placing a mirror above the desk). Worried initially as we were right beside the lift but it was so quiet we never heard it. Breakfast was fantastic, lovely fresh produce, lots of choice and beautifully presented and cooked to order. Happy Hour with lots of lovely ciccetti daily, you almost don’t need to go out for dinner! Location was great, not far from taxi drop off and a nice quiet area but easy to get to everything. We really were blown away. Big thanks to all the amazing staff.

A jewel of a boutique hotel!

This is a lovely boutique hotel in the Dorsoduro area of Venice, Italy. My husband and I stayed there for several days in late April 2026. A few weeks before we arrived, we received a greeting from the hotel staff and offer for a staff person to meet us upon arrival on the island and offer to transport our luggage. Upon arrival, Roxana, the staff person at the reception desk, welcomed us and showed us to our room and told us all we needed to know about breakfast, a complimentary happy hour, etc. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home. Breakfast was amazing and we had a selection of eggs made to order, as well as various cheeses, salamis and smoked salmon, and fresh breads and sweet rolls. Another staff person, Vladimir , gave us a wonderful recommendation to a local restaurant for dinner. Our room was also beautifully appointed, as was our bathroom with elegant Venetian tile. I loved the enclosed garden and seating area. I would go back to Hotel Moresco in a heartbeat.

Terrible customer service

Location wasn’t really central, the rooms and decor were fine.
The reception staff are terrible, basic requests like ordering a taxi, asking for an extra pillow are treated with disdain. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in any Italian hotel.
These good reviews must be a joke
I regret booking with them and won’t be relying on TripAdvisor reviews ever again.

Very nice hotel and very close to the bus station, only needed to walk over two bridges which skirted the train station. The front desk staff was accommodating and our room was quite nice on Floor 2. We appreciated the sparkling water machine in the lobby. It's not near the hubbub of activity of San Marco but so what? Take the Line 1 Water Taxi from the train station and enjoy the Grand Canal.
