It was an inn where you could enjoy hot springs and meals

I stayed overnight on the way back from Mount Kinka on the good luck tour. The amount of food was also large and all of it was delicious. The view was good, the hot spring was lukewarm, and it was warm even after I got out of the bath. I'm going to stay again.

大浴場のお湯は、「松島温泉1号泉」を源泉とするアルカリ性単純温泉です。古い角質や皮脂をとりのぞく効能があることから「美肌の湯」とも呼ばれております。

I received an email the day after I made the reservation.

It was the cheapest hotel on the JTB website for one night with two meals. I also checked Jalan and Rakuten and booked with a round-trip JR ticket included. I will be staying in July. The deciding factor was that all rooms face the ocean.
Right now, I am gathering information such as reviews.
Instead of an automatic email sent the day after booking, I received a message saying "We will pick you up when you arrive at the station", which is a new experience for me and I am looking forward to it.
This is my third time visiting Sendai and Matsushima, but it was my wife's first time, so I decided to make it my travel destination this year.
My wife and I travel around the country once a year as a way of enjoying our time after retirement.
This email made me look forward to three months from now.

Great place for holiday

The staff are very friendly and caring.
The view from the room are very nice. Very relaxing.
The dinner is delicious as well and they offer many kinds of food for breakfast

Service at it's peak

We stopped by just to have a cup of coffee as Japanese coffee habits tend toward afternoon openings. Although we were not hotel guests, we were received with incredible grace, served excellent coffee and tended to as if we had rented the penthouse. The woman who attended to us provided us with brochures for the area and her perspective on the sights to see. She even photocopied an English language brochure for us! Wonderful grace, friendly and competent staff with an extraordinary orientation toward service. And the view was to die for....

Visit for dinner—delicious food and friendly staff!

I went to Palace Matsushima for dinner on Tuesday, October 28th, 2015. The hotel itself is beautiful, and it was magical to watch the full moon rise over the bay from the lounge. Our tatami dining room also had a great view of the bay, and I was excited to sample beer from Matsushima Brewing Company as well as Iyasuko sake, which is produced locally and only available at hotels in Matsushima—definitely unique. The meal was delicious (and endless!), featuring fresh Matsushima oysters, impeccable sashimi, and so many delicious Japanese dishes that were new to me, but the staff were extremely friendly and I learned a lot about the local cuisine. Would definitely return!
