the hotel had only 1 lift! one had to wait a while. The onsen was tiny and not very inviting.

Nice but very very small rooms
There was a lot to like about this hotel. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly. It seemed very clean. The downside: It was probably the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in a number of hotels in Japan and realize Japanese hotel rooms tend to be small, but this is small even by Japan standards. The queen-sized bed was pushed tight against the wall on one side, and since the nightstand on the other side of the bed was bolted to the wall, there was no option of pulling the bed away from the wall. That means if two people are sleeping in the bed, one needs to climb over the other to get out of bed! I felt I was staying in a miniature hotel.
The bathroom was also extreemly cramped.
Since this is rated the # 1 hotel in town, I doubt any of the other hotels are much better. Just be prepared for a very tiny room!

Good Location , Good Hotel
I rode a limousine bus from the airport to go to the hotel & when I arrived there it was night time. I'm glad I booked with this hotel because it was a walking distance from the bus station , where I alighted, it was only one block away. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Sano Premium Outlet. It was only a few miles away from the most popular attraction in the city, the Ashikaga Flower Park. Visiting the Ashikaga flower Park was my main reason for coming to this place. The hotel room was somewhat small but clean & comfortable. The bathroom has a bidette commode with control settings. The breakfast buffet was good with a modest amount of food variety to choose from. Service was good as well.
