HEAVEN ON EARTH
This hotel was absolutely spectacular! The views from my room were breathtaking, and the service made me feel like royalty. Every detail, from the decor to the amenities, was top-notch. I could honestly spend days just relaxing by the pool. If you're looking for a truly special stay, this is definitely the place to book. This hotel is very new, and every detail is magnificent! The architecture and design of this hotel are perfect. Special mention to Koji Nakagawa, manager in the breakfast station, he is very professional and mindful of all our needs. To the club lounge team, you are all amazing. Saito, she is a wonderful woman, Kitty, Vy, and Shota. Thank you very much for your excellent service. By the way, all the food in the club lounge and breakfast was heavenly.I can't wait to.come back here.

Top hotel in Sapporo
Excellent hotel opened in October 2025. Great breakfast. Concierge, front desk, and other staff were top notch. Check in on 9th floor. Concierge helped us find a very good crab restaurant. Quiet location, but short walk or cab ride to entertainment district. Recommended in New York Times 36 Hours in Sapporo in 2026.

Love everything about it
Exceptional stay at InterContinental Sapporo. Beautiful new property, immaculate rooms, and truly outstanding service—special thanks to Chisa for a seamless check-in. Lounge offerings were top-notch, with excellent afternoon tea and evening canapés.
Loved the stunning park and river views, powerful shower, and well-equipped gym. Slightly away from main attractions and minor room temperature quirks, but overall a luxurious and memorable stay. One of the best InterContinental experiences—highly recommend.

Room Space & Cleanliness: The room was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, which is very rare to find in Japan.

Excellent New Hotel with Great Service and Outstanding Breakfast
Stayed at InterContinental Sapporo recently and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Being a new hotel, everything feels fresh, clean, and well maintained, and the staff truly make a strong impression with their attentive and welcoming service throughout the stay.
One very convenient feature was the parking facility equipped with EV chargers, which was greatly appreciated during our Hokkaido road trip.
The room itself was comfortable with an excellent bed, strong air conditioning, very good amenities, and an outstanding shower experience. Water pressure and bathroom quality were excellent overall. One thing that did stand out, however, was the rather unusual room layout design — the bathroom honestly felt larger than the actual bedroom area. It was not necessarily bad, just slightly strange from a planning perspective.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay with excellent quality, great variety, and a very polished overall experience. The team at breakfast were attentive and proactive, and service throughout the hotel consistently felt warm and sincere.
Dinner at the restaurant, however, felt a bit odd and slightly off in terms of concept and execution compared to the otherwise polished experience elsewhere in the hotel. It was not bad, but it did not quite match the standard set by the breakfast and overall property experience.
What stood out most was how hard the staff tried to ensure guests were happy and comfortable. Every interaction felt genuine and accommodating, and the service culture already feels very strong despite the hotel being new.
Overall, a very good new addition to Sapporo’s luxury hotel scene and a property we would definitely recommend.
