A beautiful establishment ...

Address essential enough in the center of the village of Champassak (so-called historic part) to sleep in quite appreciable comfort. Beautiful room with bathroom and separate toilet, indoor sofa and terrace, ventilo, air conditioning, internet TV, wifi... nothing missing for an even prolonged stay. We were able to test the restaurant at lunch with a choice of 3 formulas: Western, American or local .. all being very well served in quality and quantity. On the food side, we only took a "pizza" break to break the routine of Laotian and Thai food. Correct, but nothing memorable in the choice of trim... The rest of the menu is a higher level in terms of price and out of step with the local atmosphere we will say... The small terrace by the water is nice to see the Mekong River flow. The property can provide tuk-tuk and driver to visit Vat Phu and/or other nearby sites. The union fare seems to be relatively flat at $25 a round trip... but taxis and others are rare in Champassak. You can nevertheless find a boat on request at the local tourist office, either to reach Paksé or for a walk on the Mekong... The "colonial" atmosphere of the place is pleasant. Payment CB

Concernant les pizzas, nous comprenons qu’elles puissent répondre davantage à une envie ponctuelle qu’à une expérience gastronomique mémorable. Notre carte propose volontairement des plats plus élaborés, avec des produits sélectionnés et une cuisine faite maison, ce qui peut expliquer un positionnement tarifaire différent de l’offre locale environnante.
Nous sommes aussi heureux que vous ayez pu profiter de nos services de transport vers le Vat Phu et des solutions alternatives pour naviguer sur le Mékong, car la région reste en effet peu desservie.
Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau lors d’un prochain passage dans le sud du Laos.

Well worth a try...

Had lunch here a few days in a row whilst in the area overlanding in our Land Rovers.. Lovely place, and the food was 10/10. Rooms looked nice, but i was in another place. But i would look at this for our next bigger overland trip next year. The girls were all helpful.

An absolute gem by the Mekong

I had a wonderful stay with friends. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and quiet. It’s right by the Mekong and a terrific location if you’re going to see the temples at Wat Phou, or just want to relax for a a few days. Great food as well.

Pure relaxation

Just a few minutes from the busy Pakse you will find serene peace and quiet in the village surroundings. The hotel is tastefully and comfortably furnished and perfectly clean. We spent 4 days here and felt very comfortable. The staff is always friendly. The manager is very personable. We would definitely come back and can recommend the hotel Wärmsteins.

Bijoux of a hotel

Very nice place in this small village that deserves a stay. We had a mini duplex apartment with 2 bathrooms. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Air conditioning and also fan. Large balcony overlooking a small garden.
Great breakfast and you still dream all the patisserie - Never ate better.
Staff very helpful and friendly and speak quite good English so easy to agree on everything.
In addition to the beautiful entrance where you can eat, there is the option near the Mekong. Very suggestive. Eaten well - food also with Western style choice but above local prices. Laotian dishes have lower prices.
The village is very nice to walk around with a great shop with craft goods from all over Laos. To visit.
Place I'd go back to.
